First impressions - the game is gorgeous and sharp - and the game loads so damn fast too!

And it really, really feels like a brand new game - trust me, playing HDRemix will not help you practice for this game at all...

Focus Cancelling is tough as hell to get since this is the first time EVER for me to play SFIV - but I'll get the hang of it if it's the last thing I do...

And I can see why some people don't like the Hori EX2 stick - it's tough for some reason to get the Ultra to come out, since it doesn't seem to register the 3 buttons together or so, since I mostly end up using EX moves...

But man it's so damn good!

So for those that pre-ordered through Gamestop, when are we supposed to get our totally cool and don'tyoudarecallitdorkyorIwilltotallyshoryukenyou headbands? Are they going to be there when you pickup the game or should I have gotten mine when I put down for the pre-order?

Weird thing is, the TE sticks and games don't even show up in my store's incoming shipment screen on the computer. That's really why I was kind of worried about it yesterday and the day before. Didn't strike me as a good sign.

I was told they'll get the game on the 18th and when I asked about the arcade sticks he said their store only got two reserves so they only got two sticks. He told me my best bet would be to order a FightStick from the MadCatz website.

I REALLY hope my Barnes and Noble (SE FightStick) and Amazon (TE FightStick) orders come through!

I cancelled my 360 preorder with Amazon. I'm going to pick it up from Game Crazy (the only nearby game store in the mountains of the Mojave Desert).

They said they would have a midnight release for the game and have a tournament. I want to go, but I have to work the next day and have to teach, so I don't want to be a zombie.

Hmm, after reading about all the Dutchies on this page who got their copy early, I decided to go to my favorite local gameshoppe's website and guess what? They changed the release date from February 20th to February 14th. Awesome. I will get my copy soon :D

I am on it. MY friend is a manager at my local EB Games...As far as my friend told me, they haven't shipped yet :( On Monday being a holiday it does not help people in the (GTA) Ontario...

I'm going to start bugging my local Best buys and Futureshops...

I found the game. So I was walking downtown and decided to stop by 7-11 to see what's up just in case on some crazy-ass off chance they had their shipment and decided to sell. I went in and asked the cashier if they had Street Fighter.

"...S-street? Fighter?"

I just said nevermind and got a large Slurpee instead. I pretended it was a Street Fighter cup. As I was leaving the store, though, a guy runs up behind me. He had a 7-11 uniform on so I assumed he worked there.

"Yo, you looking for Street Fighter 4?" he asked. I nodded frantically. "Meet me in the back of the store in five minutes."

I said okay, and stood outside the store, finishing my Slurpee hurriedly. I threw it away and walked around the block and into the alley behind the store. There was the dude, and he was holding a copy of the game in his hand.

"We're not supposed to sell this yet, but I'll cut you a deal bro," he said. "How bad you want this game?"

I told him I wanted it real bad. He chuckled at me a little maniacally. Then he unzipped his pants and let them drop to the ground.

I looked down and then looked back up at him. The look in his eyes was menacing but oddly enticing. This was Street Fighter 4. I couldn't wait another 4 or 5 days for this game.

When we were done he handed me the game. I told him thanks and he said the same. Then he asked me, "What would you do for a Tournament Edition stick?"

When I got home I could barely sit down. But I had the game. I had the stick. It was time to tell everyone on GAF.
