Lost Fragment said:DLC would make the most sense, I think. I just hope they figure out a good way to prevent fragmenting the console player base. Maybe something similar to HDR where you can choose whether you want to play the game with the original rules/mechanics and whatnot.

I think by the end of the year we'll have it. Hopefully it shifts the dynamics of the tiers a bit for the better. I'm just curious about how they're going to release the revision.

fucking rage quitters.
FindMyFarms said:Get ready to FA her Burning kick shenanigans. Also lots of em like to do jump in fk -> BK(both hits are in the air) , lk bk keeps her in front, fk bk crosses up. When they do cr. mk -> tk feint, they're usually fishing for a cr. mk confirm to lp tk, it stuns like a mofo. If they get cr. mk blocked, then follow up w/ lots of cr. mk -> tk feints, expect a walk up throw or overhead pretty soon.
Also, be REALLY careful jumping in on viper. She's just like Ryu in that if she trades fp tk, she gets a free dash -> ultra. Also be careful when you get a knockdown and try to meaty, as lots of em like to do wake up ex seismo, since they get ultra off that as well. Lastly, be careful when you're in sweep range, Vipers like to use neutral jump fk as their primary zoning tool, as it stuffs most ground pokes and either leads to a huge combo or lets her reset her mixup game w/ the cr. mk -> tk feints.
Fighting against her is tricky, but what you want to do is get offensive momentum, she has TERRIBLE defense. I've taken out most of the nations (US, not japan lol) top Viper's a lot in casuals, and she's prob. the one match up I feel the most confident against, if you got anything specific fire away!

I lost badly to some Gen with my Cammy (on a bad streak right now with her), and he messages me "Dumb Noob...". Randoms on PSN are habitual line steppers. I challenge him to a rematch, and proceed to Pringle the shit out of him with Guile for a few matches . He tries to make nice afterward, but screw elitists (who don't have the total skill to back it up).
Sorry if I sound douchey, but I hate it when people think they are the shit undeservedly so (and aren't kidding about it).
I'll be playing this game for a while . Playing SSF2 (The New Challengers <3; never got to play the OG Super Turbo) with my brother from ages 5-17 for about 4 hours straight every week has made me horribly competitive.
Spiderjericho said:From what I heard, the GAF SF community is worse than the PSN one (even though Live performs better). Except for N3ss and a couple others, I don't have many SF friends on Live.
GGs Timekllr. I'm not a big fan of random play, but it's interesting.
hitsugi said:wow... just had an interesting experience. wish I had gotten the player's name, but here goes:
Matched up against a sagat player, 4 bars.. pretty stable connection. First game I win, second game every time he gets knocked down I'm unable to move (or my inputs are coming out 2-3 full seconds late) and the third match becomes completely unplayable.
Afterward, I was unable to leave him feedback because you need to have played against someone to prefer / avoid them. Nice. I wonder if this kind of bullshit is happening on PSN, too.
Madcatz TE stick is god tier. $150 though.ForzaItalia said:Guys, I apologize because I'm sure it's already been stated in this topic but what is the best arcade stick to get for the 360? Is there one clean cut winner? A couple of choices?
Thanks for any help!

catfish said:Madcatz SE with Sanwa parts mods you can do easily yourself will come in cheaper than the TE stick and will be cheaper.
They fucking rock. original parts are..... just OK.
Augemitbutter said:G1 continues to be very boring. either i accept unstable 2-3 bars, or i'll never advance. i did that for two matches today and lost to bullshit. some shameful gouki managed to throw me seriously 4x in a row and i couldnt do anything to prevent it. i did get my revenge next round but i sure wont give in to my impatience anymore. i simply dont have any fun that way.
back to player matches, I've encountered almost the same bullshit. some ryu player appeared to have 4 bars, yet the framerate was unstable. i didnt realise for a while until i couldnt get a throw out after a missed FADC, but that stupid bullhorn always could. i've continued anyway since im stubborn and stupid. lost most of the time and had to part with a bad mood. im pretty sure that guy was downloading porn in the background.
lag is the most infuriating thing for me in this game. i think im gonna ditch G1 for a while and play alot less, its not fun this way. i sure hope KOF will get a better netcode and i might cut down on SF IV significaqntly.
end of rage.
ForzaItalia said:My friend prefers the more slim joystick rather than the rounded one. Does Madcatz offer this too?
Pretty much - a lot of things you can block or do on reaction offline is just not feasible online.hitsugi said:oh as for fake bars.. I saw someone who was 5 bars up to the point where I hit ready, then he dropped to 1. That was interesting. SF4 just isn't the same game online and we all know this.. it's SF4 Online, not SF4.
Sounds like you just got lag-switch'ed. I usually find random online Gief players like to do this since lariat with insane input lag means it's almost unblockable.hitsugi said:wow... just had an interesting experience. wish I had gotten the player's name, but here goes:
