Rashad Evans (10-0) vs. Tito Ortiz (15-5)

I can't wait for Tito Ortiz to shut all the f'ing haters and MMA fans who think Rashad Evans will beat him. WTF?! Rashad Evans? Who is that? Yes, he was a division I wrestler? So what? This is MMA not wrestling.
Which is exactly why it doesn't matter who the bigger name is. Have you paid attention to any of the 2007 PPVs?

I cant stand Evans. Hoping for a good decisive Tito win to get him back on the championship run. I wanna see Rampage vs Tito anyways.

I'm a little more surprised he doesn't even know who Rashad Evans is, which IMO is probably one of the main points of The Ultimate Fighter show anyway (introducing the new fighters to the expanding audicence). Kinda hard to not know if you've followed UFC at all in the last few years.

Tito is sort of like the MMA equivalent of Limp Bizkit for me....

Something you thought may have been cool for like 2 seconds and then realized it was horribly lame and you're ashamed and embarrassed to admit you ever liked.

I hope he gets pounded...

I'm a big Silva fan so I hope he wins tonight also.

uh Tito cannot beat Chuck, how the hell is he supposed to even stand a chance with Rampage?

Meh

Chuck beat Tito
Rampage beat Chuck
doesnt mean Rampage beats Tito

If you really want to follow that..
Tito beat Wanderlei
Wanderlei beat Rampage
Tito > Rampage?

Thats why you gotta fight :D

That said.. i dont think Tito matches up great with Rampage :P
I wouldnt mind seeing it though.

anyone know that site that streams the PPV for free through VCL player :[

picks:
Florian
Nogueria
Ortiz
Sherk
Marquartd

Has anyone ever used UFC on Demand, is the streaming quality good? The person I was going to go watch this with is still driving back from vacation :(

It seems like for $39.99 it should be pretty damn good. I clicked it thinking it would be something like 19.99 geez.

Tried the one I used for UFC 71 dosent seem to work, at least not now...

I broke down and paid the money although the damn ridiculous $39.95 amount for online streaming was enough to make me think about using sopcast or something.

It's an ok stream, but I don't understand why it should be as much as the TV price.

Herring coming out now

Nog got ****ed up. Why the hell did they stand up? Nog dominating the whole round, then gets kicked in the head. Damn. PEACE.

Herring is a ****ing idiot!

I think he thought the ref was going to step in and stop it.. he did get in 4 hammer fists befoer it looked like Nog even started trying to defend. I'm surprised by his 3rd fight in the UFC Heath didn't immediately drop elbows.. it would have probably ended it. You don't see the hammer fist like that much in the UFC

that shit makes no sense, it almost makes me think the fight was fixed...

no way you can be that dumb!

"you were supposed to block that man, my bad, i'll let you catch your breath"

i think alot of fights are fixed. too many dumb things happen in ufc.

The cali kid at the UFC event, i wonder if he'll try to make the move to 155 UFC
Nah. UFC needs to adopt the featherweight division. People will pay to see a Faber fight IMO. PEACE.

Damn, that match was a struggle. Those guys were absolutely gassed.

Good work Nog.

Stop with this fixed bullshit.

No, there doesnt need to be anymore divisions than there is now.

It's good the way it is now.

shit that was close. Sherk was damn close to tapping there.

ive honestly never seen a fight where someone went for a sub the first minute and got it.

too much strength early on to get submitted i think.

off the top of my head.. Stevenson caught Guilard in a guillotine in like.. 20 seconds.

wasnt very long ago..

Sherk is just too strong for Hermes. How awkward did it look when Hermes got on top and stood up a bit, and Sean pushed him back like 4 feet with his legs

Someone subbed Sean Salmon in the first minute, but you are right. Generally, subs do not work early on in the fight b/c the opponent will be too strong.

Fedor is probably the only guy really good enough to sub top-level guys early in a fight. Fedor was able to sub Matt Lindland early in their fight, but he had to use so much force that he broke Matt's arm in three places. For that reason, Fedor normally waits to sub his opponents until they are weak so that he does not have to hurt them so bad.

Man, sherk was in some good positions in side control to throw some heavy knees to the ribs.

I honestly think thats the most under used move in the ufc...

EDIT: **** at that knee!
