Better quality youtube of his semi-final.

Hard to say if he can break the record tomorrow. He was jogging near the end, but looks tired.

Edit: He'll easily beat the 200m record at the world championships which is 19.76 by Gay two years ago. 19.30 is another matter...
He was totally chilling near the end of the race... :lol

He looked like he can do a 19.5 easy there, the way he let up. I'll guess he's right around 19.30 in the finals, given how he looked in the 100.

Forza has be doing calculations all night and has just text'd me his prediction, he says Bolt will run anywhere between 19.10 - 19.19 today, margin of error +/- 5%

Once again, Forza is correct. Right on the money 19.19. Good prediction.

Honest to God, the first number that came to mind last night was 19.19. I shall describe to you guys how I arrived at 19.10 as the bottom ceiling when I get home after work and beat off to Bolt...

He said between 19.10 - 19.19 which is 0.09 margin. Didn't really think he could go under 19.20, man.

I misread the margin of error as +/- .05 and since it's including 19.10 and 19.19, it's a margin of .10 :P

Amazing! Bolt is a legend already.

I'm not sure if he can trim that time down to 18.99 seconds. He is only 22 though so he still have a couple of years of physical and technical development before missing his potential peak.

man, i was gonna laugh when i saw this earlier... wow... just wow...

He looks so calm and relaxed when he's running, almost like its very natural to him. The other runners are trying so hard to keep up.

Why isn't this a bigger deal? It is especially sad in the States seeing as how most of the media coverage is going towards a washed up asshole (Brett Farve) and Bolt is almost a footnote, though what he is doing could be considered the greatest sports achievement of the decade.

Hope it is getting the coverage it deserves outside of the USA (excluding Jamaica where I am sure is one place where they are giving him the props he deserves).

Just the decade? Fuck, has anyone in human history run this fast, without even trying the whole way?

Alsonso Edward of Panama finished second in 19.81 — a South American record but still a gaping 0.62 behind Bolt.

Actually he did clearly try this time, he even said in an interview he was pretty tired and his form was ''all over the place''.

Hm, seemed like those last few steps he let up a little bit, but he was going too fast for me to really tell.

I am calling out the American sports media. It is bullshit this guy isn't getting more attention. Earlier this week. He broke the 100m by .11 and he wasn't even the top story. It was GOLF!! That is crap. The dude is a once in a lifetime spectacle and people care more about one crappy tournament of golf.
