You gotta be fucking kidding me.
All the ps4 exclusive are delayed till now.
No they're delayed till later.

I have no issue with them announcing it, but don't give a release date. I don't get why they feel the need to do it all. Just show the game say it's in development and then when the game is a point where you can confidently give a release date, do it then. No need to announced a release window 18 months in advance.
I'd be reluctant to jump to too many conclusions on that front until after E3. It's *possible* that that's all they have right now, true, but we're also at the stage of the year where there's a bunch of secrets lined up to be revealed, so it's possible they've got something up their sleeve, too.
I'd like the source of this image.
AgreedIf they did that for every big game then why would anybody buy a console? What we've seen with recent console launches is first parties telling bald-faced lies about their software slate to sucker people into buying a machine early.
We complain if the game releases and it's busted. We complain if its delayed and polished. Developers can't win.

Sunset, D4 and an HD halo is nothing serious for sony. all those combined will move less systems than the most hyped game in recent memory, titan fall. Third parties will be the one moving systems. Which one has the better verisons? Ps4. Which console will they mostly be advertised for? Ps4. Which conlsoe will have the most midshare? Ps4. Ps4 Which console will dominate on a global scale this holiday? Ps4.
"2014"What was the original release date of this game anyway?

Dude, with all due respect, Sony isn't giving us any reason to believe that there is a plethora or content (or any content for that matter) left to be unveiled for this year. OH and recent developments don't exactly bolster confidence of this either.
SCE World Wide Studios (SCE WWS) is currently developing more than 30 PS4 exclusive titles, 20 of them, including 12 new IPs, are planned to release within a year of the launch of the PS4 system. This demonstrates PlayStations focus on delivering original, creative content to gamers that will define next-generation gaming experiences. SCE WWS President Shuhei Yoshida provided an update on PS4 exclusive titles, #DRIVECLUB, Killzone Shadow Fall, KNACK, which will be available at launch, and inFAMOUS Second Son, available first quarter 2014. He also unveiled SCEAs next blockbuster title, The Order: 1886, from acclaimed studio Ready at Dawn.
How about competently developing a title and getting out polished and refined on time?
Believe it or not, this can be done.
When was the last time Sony announced a major exclusive on such short notice? I don't expect a major unnanounced AAA PS4 exclusive for this year. Sony fucked up with their release schedule.
2012 was an empty hole as well for the PS3, it had PSASBR as it's big fall game, then 2013 saw too many PS3 releases, it had a game from a major 1st party studio each month prior to PS4 launched+GT6 after the launch, and 2014 is back at being empty again.
I can't help but wonder what's coming out Holiday 2014. Uncharted? TLG?
GT6.
You mean how Microsoft will try to do the same thing with their Halo collection?I guess they'll now try to tout TLOU Remaster as their big game for the year? What a joke.
That Borderlands Pre-Sequel is looking increasingly like a missed opportunity, 2k!!
You have nothing on else on your list? There are plenty of other games coming out this Fall.
Besides, would you really rather have it rushed?
What exactly is "on time"? If they had not projected a release timeframe of Fall would you have still had said they weren't being competent by not getting it out in the busiest shopping season? How about competently developing a title and getting out polished and refined on time?

Rofl, there is only 1 exclusive coming up and that was supposed to be a launch game.

"2014"
They did have this in the press release last year IIRC:
And then there is this PS Blog entry that is updated regularly... I think?:

Destiny, that's about it.
No I would have rather they increased the "man" power and got it done on time.
TLOU HD? Rime? Helldivers? Hohokum?

just throw more bodies at it. that always works. always

You mean how Microsoft will try to do the same thing with their Halo collection?
Microsoft has Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Halo collection and will rely on third party games like CoD and Battlfield.
Sony has DriveClub and The Last of Us and will lean on indies and third party games like Destiny and Assassins Creed.
And they both have a potentially stellar 2015 lineup.
I don't see the problem here.
What exactly is "on time"? If they had not projected a release timeframe of Fall would you have still had said they weren't being competent by not getting it out in the busiest shopping season?
Dude, that stuff is from last year's E3.
I think it is fairly obvious none of that is actually going to be accomplished, sadly.
The problem being that Sony's retail game output is usually much better than Microsoft, and this fall MS will actually beat them if there are no further announcements. If you leave out the re-releases, and Horizon 2 is for real, Xbone has 2 new games, PS4 has 1 (delayed launch) game coming up.
Throwing more time always works?
It all ends up costing them money.
Look let me be clear about this.
I'm not even talking so much about Ready At Dawn here, as I am Sony.
Sony has an obligation to its customers, who purchased their product to deliver regular content for it.
Sony up till now has clearly reneged in this promise. Sony should have planned out PS4's release schedule and better managed its games development to ensure that in the event of a unexpected delay, they were prepared for that contingency.
Clearly, their designs (if there ever even were any) have floundered.
They planned this title as a 2014 release. They should've known realistically if it was going to make it and if there was a strong chance that it wasn't, had something as a substitute for it.
