Yesterday i caught their show in NYC, here are some pictures i took.
They were very good live, and it was a small gig, only about 30 people. Very cozy and personal. As i've been saying, their debut album is my album of the year and probably my overall favorite album of the last few years. They were similarly impressive live, had a very moody, melancholy ambiance. Those who haven't, but like good indie pop, check them out.

They were very loud and fun. The guitarist snapped a string midway through. They dont have an album out, but an EP with 7 tracks...it was them I initially wanted to catch at CBGB's, but realized they were touring with The Organ and had a few shows planned in NYC, so I caught one of the combo shows instead, obviously.
They got very catchy riffs, LOUD drums and infectious melodies.

I started listening to them earlier this year when I heard "No one has ever looked so dead" off of Sinking Hearts. There's a 2004 version of it on their upcoming album. One of my favorite new bands.

I'm disappointed because I didn't know they were playing a show in Pennsylvania and I ended up missing them. It doens't look like they are coming back for a long time so damn.

Nice pictures though.

I love the album too. I've been listening to it a lot since I got it.
