I know many here are not Budich fans but got this yesterday looks awesome just had to share.

I got one of those too, along with two others from that show when they first went on sale. It was my least favorite when I ordered it, but it became my favorite when I saw it in person. The colors just pop so well. Congrats on the pickup!

And yes, awesome metroid plushes. I need to get one of those to go with my Big Boo.

Yeah the colors are super nice really like this one, I have been looking at it for a long time finally decided to jump on it. I made the Metroid plushes patterns here http://www.metroidhat.com/epicness/plushie.html

I think I made 3 of them it's pretty fun if you don't mind sewing a little I did it by hand no need for a machine or anything. I have a problem with collecting Nintendo plushes it's a guilty pleasure I haven't admitted till now......they are for my daughter guys really.

Yay, I correctly identified the pattern. That's my girlfriend's site. I'm glad you made your own instead of buying knockoff ones on etsy :D

Really?? That's awesome! Tell her thanks a lot from me was super cool of her to put it online and share. They are a great addition to my collection.

Haha, next time I go to New York, I'll try to make a mention here. The Nintendo Store is full of 'em. That's where I got Teresa, my Big Boo. :p

Actually, I think there's a NY resident or three in this group, so maybe one of them can do ya the favor.

I've picked up a few from Nintendo World I'm heading back up there in January for work so I'll be stocking up, thanks for the offer though! Hope to get some Pikmin this time. I've found some on Amazon too official release legit ones but picking up in the store is more fun.

Hey guys,

I wanted to share this with our little group: anybody interested in an Indiana Jones Print Commission? It'll be a triptych of the original trilogy, 120 screen-print run with metallics, no variants, numbered (not sure about signed), and completed by artist Mark Lone. It is not being done by me, but by a guy spearheading the project on a closed facebook group. There were about 80+ people who have joined the group, so there are a few spots still open, so if you are interested, send me a PM with your email so I can invite you to the group ASAP.

The people in this thread are awesome. Thanks for all the info here and have a great weekend!

edit: Looks like price will be $120/set

Is anyone still looking for a Cowboy Bepop variant by Alexander Iaccarino? I'm framing up some new acquisitions and I honestly have no room for it, I'd rather it go to someone who actually wants it rather than eBaying it.

So my girlfriend's friend is apparently pretty darn good at drawing. She just did this piece of Viserys from GoT in an hour just for fun:

Probably going to make her do more of these haha.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
How do you not know your girlfriend is a good artist.

HOW?

Picked up a Brandon Holt. Really like the details on that one and I'm particularly fond of the story it is referencing. These comics (and the show) were a huge part of my childhood, which might explain a few things, actually haha.

Tried to grab a vinyl as well, but no luck. Time to hit up the aftermarket!

Really wish they'd give Jay something more substantial than the Drafthouse releases. I really love his stuff but never know what the hell his posters are for.

If this was meant for me, I didn't receive anything. I've been having some trouble getting PM's today, I've had a couple of people send me messages I never got.

If you still have it I'm interested I'll PM you.

Gonna have to skip the Ortiz, I think. Just too strapped for cash at the moment with new consoles coming out. Hopefully I can pick it up for a reasonable price later on.

Pretty much this. I've often only even heard of the movies 30% of the time, let alone seen them. Would love to get something by him for a film I actually like.

Yeah I really love his Paths of Glory print, which I thankfully own. I'm always hopeful he'll eventually get to do a Kubrick series or something like that. I think he would be perfect for it.

In other news, I'm thinking of selling my Ansin Taxi Driver. Got a lot of stuff coming up in November, and selling it is an option right now. Figured I'd give you guys first shot at it before I go to EB or eBay. If you're interested, you can shoot me a PM here or on EB.

Now wait a minute...

This is not the same as the one you mentionned earlier, right?

If so, why did I pre-order a non signed, non embossed (?), more common, inferior version of this poster for exactly the same price ?

Edit :

raresleeve said:
A slightly different version of the poster with extra credits will be revealed at a Halloween screening of the film on 31/10/13 at the Hackney Picturehouse. This poster is limited to 300 prints 50 of which will have the extra credits on relating to the screening.

Please Note: The poster with extra credits will only be available to buy online if they do not sell out at the event.

Is that it ? Shit, I'm confused.

Yeah, according to this page the last 2 you posted will only be sold online tomorrow *if* they aren't sold out on site.

Still, I feel a bit cheated as I much prefer one of the so-called "slightly different" versions that you just posted about to the one I pre-ordered (for which, incidentally I had to pay in full immediately...).
