Should I create an account on that mondotees.com site and be mindful of Twitter if I want a chance at scoring one? Haven't yet ordered from Mondo directly so I don't know how best to prepare.

If it drops tomorrow it will be unannounced and it won't be tweeted. It will just come and go. They usually do this for posters that are too low in quantity that it's not worth making an announcement for cause it will get everyone riled up.

and yes, you should have an account.

Oh I know, but the advice was appreciated either way.

If anyone scores an extra Iron Giant should something like that happen, I'd likely be very interested in purchasing it.

You should install page monitor and be ready to strike at any moment. They normally do unannounced drops when they have very low numbers so if you're ready for it you can normally grab one, especially this time since there isn't much interest in the two prints being sold.

So you just email in but you don't say which one you want unless they email you back? How does that work and how is that fair? I figured there would be a separate entry for variant and regular.

That's what I'm wondering. I'm not sure if it's a choice or what? Maybe the first 150 emails they draw have a choice and the remaining variants are given out as the emails are drawn?

Well I have found out that if you get picked they give you a link to the store and you pick which one you want. Kind of shitty because the variant could all go first, but you are guaranteed a print if you're picked.

Yeah but it says sometime after 12 PST....that could be 8pm for all we know (which wouldn't be bad cause everyone would be at The Thing screening hehe). I hope it's sooner rather than later though.

Right now on ebay they have three going for like 10.50, 61.00, and 85.00 with a couple of days left on them. I don;t know about other people's opinions but i think it looks great in person, and the one sent to me was all effed up in the mail. Luckily they are sending me a new one.

Agreed, and mine wasn't messed up in the mail. The detail really pops in person.

Thanks for opinions. I am never comfortable using eBay for bidding! I just use buy it now. I might just cave and get this one :/ but then shipping to Ireland is 50$ and only one of the auctions ships international.

Fucking love that print though.

I think Rhys Cooper will have 50 signed copies to sell on his store eventually, if you don't mind waiting. Just guessing, but it seems likely as well.
