I then snooped over to his blog and found these amazing pieces he did for the Community 6 seasons and a movie art show and was wondering if anyone knew if he ever sold them as prints. If he did id be all over them in a heartbeat:

I did my Toy Story, picking up tomorrow, the whole double matted, nice frame, UV glass, acid-free shebang was 250, so I feel you there.

24 x 36 is EXPENSIVE

Oh man. I got a quote for about $250 for my Hawkeye, but that was without the framer seeing the print (only stopped by because I went to the farmer's market in the town center). The $250 was the lower option while there was another option that was nearly $400 due to the frame.

...Luckily they offer amazon local coupons so I'll be waiting for that so I can save some money.

prior to framing, I'd advise figuring out how you'll store stuff flat long term and getting your whole flattening / storage figured out... as you know, framing is very expensive and you can't always frame every piece right away

I don't trust myself with framing anything bigger than my Charmander print. Even that was a pain to frame to my liking and all that was was trying to keep the inside of the frame clean due to the shadowbox effect.

I know it was sold at SDCC, it's out of a run of 150 and it's by the comic book cover artist Adam Hughes. I've looked online and I've only seen 2, with the cheapest price being $150. I'd like to buy one, just not for that much. If anyone knows anything more, that would be awesome!

I feel horrible. I usually grab a $20 frame from Target.

I was going to ask you all about how to frame the Olly Dark Knight one that I got. Any nice looking cheaper frames? What about matting?

One last glimmer of hope is that the Variant is going on sale at a different date because they were shipped to the wrong place.

I can only wonder if that had been available today, enough people would've gone for that instead of the Regular that I might've gotten the Regular in time.

Sigh.

Had such a moral dilemma over the Mononoke and DKR artist proofs... Had all 3 in my cart, debated, then ended up solely with the Adventure Time one.

I really couldn't justify the Mononoke or the DKR ones, and they would've probably been investments for further down the line, but goddamn, that was a very tough choice to click "add to cart" or not...
