AC shadows at max settings @4K is the reason why having a top of the line PC is awesome.

yes. As I've said. Motion blur is enabled.
that's 48" lg c1 on my desk. It's fine. Don't see much judder.
Even with motion blur on I couldn't tolerate 30fps. On my previous LG OLED65C8PLA and my current LG OLED77G26LA, quality mode runs choppy as hell and motion blur just adds vaseline. Balanced mode is the bare minimum I can stomach nowadays. FF7 Rebirth's Versatility mode has ruined me. God bless the PS5 PRO.😁

if their 30fps mode was at leas tin 120hz container.... that would help drastically. But sony is too dumb for that

Imagine the consoles version 🤮🤮🤮

I mean there's endless reasons.

  • Indiana Jones & The Great Circle
  • Alan Wake II
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Avatar
  • Kingdom Come Deliverance II
  • Hellblade II
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Control
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Switch games at 4k/60+fps
  • Bloodborne 4k/60+fps
  • Retro RTX games (Portal/Half-Life 2/Quake II/etc..etc..)
  • PS3 emulation
  • Xbox 360 emulation
  • OG Xbox emulation
  • retro emulation
  • RTX HDR
  • Reshade
  • Mods
  • etc.. etc.. etc..

High-end PC gaming is just absolutely incredible if you can afford it.

I don't even think you need a super high end pc either. My 4080 laptop is a year old that I use for work and it will smoke most of those games at max settings using a monitor or portable. $1600

Can anyone explain me how to SLI 2 5090's?
So i can avoid frame doubling and dlss in 4k 120fps?

dude when wind picks up, it gets overcast and rainy... MAN
I had a wind storm, winter, at night, I could barely see anything. It was so fucking cool. The snow building up on my character while I'm walking through it on my horse, wind blowing side ways and pushing show so hard the visibility was nonexistent.

The people who make art and graphics at Ubisoft are head and shoulders the bread and butter of that company. They know how to make a pretty game. They went from Avatar to Outlaws to this, all three drop dead gorgeous.

When using frame gen on this game. The artifacts are very minimal. I am actually surprised. I don't use FG because if this reason. On this game I can only see a small blur trail around the main character head when turning the camera. If there is more. They are imperceptible to me. Interesting.

What? The game looks very poor compared to other modern games, and compared to previous AC games. Is it just me, or does there appear to be some very manufactured praise for this game?

You need to do justice when using images from the PC version. If you put in a high-resolution texture pack, this game easily sells itself as next-gen.

I honestly don't think Unity's visuals had been surpassed until Shadows. Syndicate, Rogue, Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla all look inferior. It took 10 years to top those graphics.

Agreed. Animation-wise I still think Unity reigns at the top, but other than that in terms of visual quality Shadows surpassed it for sure.

Its a toss up for me. Somethings are good in one game, and some are better in the other. AC:S benefits from having more moving parts and higher rez on zoom ins but I prefer the color palate and mood of RDR more. It could be because Ubi has their signature saturated "Floaty(?)" (Don't know how to describe it) look thats a bit too cartoony? Their games look very similar from Origins/Far Cry 5 onwards.

Good comparison overall I think.

Not mine but it gives a good idea of the maxed visuals :

Impressive, the RTGI makes a huge difference and so does the weather system. If Ubisoft had been more cliché with the protagonists and the story (imagine something like the story of Musashi), this would have been one of the best-selling games in the franchise, the atmosphere easily sells this game. But given the controversies, I think a lot of people will only buy it when it's cheap.

Good for anyone who needs a high end gaming pc, but ps5 pro is enough for me. Still rocking 1080ti and won't build a new one just to play games.

Also I love collecting physical games.

It does look generally good. There are a lot of issues that aren't even worth going in to. But as someone who has lived in Japan for many years, I'd rather just go outside if I wanna see better graphics.
