Well, it seemed that there could have been some substance from the veteran speakers. Basically, the first minute or so from them didn't immediately sound outrageous.
I wouldn't have been swayed to vote, but one could at least hope for a convincing argument. That's unfortunately too much to ask.
I said earlier that this was like 8 years of Fox News and AM Talk Radio condensed down to an ultra-lethal 8 hour dose. Anyone watching today got blasted by the unfiltered echo chamber at maximum power. Absolutely nothing new or important was said, it was just repeated louder than usual.
Well, Trump made a really over the top entrance when he introduced Melania, but I'm sure they'll replay that a bunch.
I believe it would be First Gentleman, though I remember in 07 he said how he would like to be called the First Laddy.
