If umps are going to congregate over calls, then they just need to have instant replay in the playoffs. Of course the calls could only be contested by the umps, the mangers couldn't force a replay decision.

Meh, sounds like a terrible idea now that I put it in type

Zeke: (to Clayton) When's that bastard comin' to Houston?

Clayton: Hey, Zeke wants to know when you Yankee bastards are comin' to Houston!

George: You tell that son of a bitch no Yankee is ever comin' to Houston. Not as long as you

bastards are running things.

Clayton: Hey, uh, speak up, George, I can't hear ya!

George: (Mr.Wilhelm comes in and hears George yelling) You tell that son of a bitch no Yankee is

ever comin' to Houston! Not as long as you bastards are running things!

(Mr.Wilhelm comes running, takes the phone from George and hangs up)

Wilhelm: George! George, get a hold of yourself!

Oh no ball bounces off 3rd base bag. Here comes the Yankee luck....

Schill will pitch out of this though. Even though Bernie's foul boul made my heart jump...

SHILL

2 more innings, that's all I ask.

just heard Wakefield is the scheduled starter for game 7 as of before this game. If he pitches like he did last night, and the Sox hold on(big ifs, I know)....Yanks are in trouble.

And that's also assuming Tek doesn't catch =p

When Shilling was first out there:

joe buck: "It looks like there's blood coming through Schilling's sock from the shots he took. It's like a scene out of The Natural."

you guys = joe buck

edit: from those shots of Schilling on the bench...does anyone else think he's in intense pain?

So (ratm)Joe...

How long you willing to hold out, buddy?

All it takes is a nice cash contribution to the Casa de Orlando, and your tag can get changed back and the Yankees can have a nice comfy World Series clash with the Astros.

This offer might not be on the table too much longer...

And I can't see the game Kuro. What's the score?

Learn from the real Yankees fans here what it is to be a real fan.

Or continue to troll ineffectively =) Either way.

Yankees fans are always so cocky and smug. This collapse couldn't have happened to a better team.

Besides, they got too complacent when it was 3-0. And it is never a true Yankees/Red Sox series unless it goes all seven games. I mentioned before the series started that the Red Sox would sweep four in a row. But what I meant was sweep the last four games! :D

I'll make a huge contribution, for the love of god just change the tag back to the way it was.

Yankees >>>>>> Boston

I need it, I want it. I can't take this shit anymore.

Just curious, when was the last time the Yankees didn't make it to the (N/A)LCS? (I don't know which league they're in)

No, I meant the ALCS. I know they're in it now, I was curious as to when the last time they didn't make it (ie first round exit) was?

They're in the ALCS now. And, to answer your question, it was two years ago when the Angels beat them in the division series.

Contrary to popular belief, the Yankees do not win it all every year.
