DJ Demon J said:Don't say bandwagon....1.) I like underdogs and 2.) I hate the Yankees.
Then you shouldn't be rooting for anybody. The Red Sox WERE the favorites in this series.DJ Demon J said:Don't say bandwagon....1.) I like underdogs and 2.) I hate the Yankees. Besides, aren't you rooting for them? Don't you want as many fans rooting for them as possible?
Ha, no, it was actually more along the lines of you and Mr Bob being big anti-Nintendo trolls. And yep, I'm rooting for them. I don't really care about baseball at all during the regular season, but when it comes to the playoffs, and you get the Yankees/Sox playing each other, I cheer for the Sox (mostly because of their fans). Same goes for the Cubs.DJ Demon J said:Don't say bandwagon....1.) I like underdogs and 2.) I hate the Yankees. Besides, aren't you rooting for them? Mike Works said:One more newbie question- are closer pitchers;
1) Really good pitchers that don't have the arm to go consistently long like a regular pitcher
2) Really good pitchers that aren't consisten enough as regular pitchers when it comes to pitching well
3) Average pitchers
To be honest, I'm really not sure how you go about becoming a closer. I think usuelly it's option #1. I'd say guys like Rivera, Gagne, Smoltz (formerly a very good starter), and the like certainly fit in that first group.Mike Works said:One more newbie question- are closer pitchers;

How does one go about becoming a closer like Gagne or Rivera throughout their career? It's one aspect I've always found confusing.
He used the word underdog. Technically the Yankees were the underdogs in this series. I'm only making a statement of fact.kpop100 said:yeah if the Yanks win it will go down as one of the greatest upsets of all time...please :rolleyes

There is no "the more likely". It all comes down to Joe's tag. That's it.DJ Demon J said:So technically, you could say that the more anti-Nintendo truth that is told on the forum....the more likely the Sox are to win....? ! ??
