I'm one of those mutants that like some of the episodes from the later seasons. Here are some of the ones I liked - I stick with episodes season 20 and before, and I'm also a fan of the 3 mini-story episodes (asterisk'd), so if you don't feel like watching those feel free to skip them. I also left out a bunch of episodes I liked but am pretty sure others didn't.

The only ones you really need to watch are The Seemingly Never-Ending Story (s17e13) and Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind (s19e09).

Season 13
Weekend at Burnsie's
*Tales from the Public Domain
I Am Furious (Yellow)
Jaws Wired Shut

Season 14
Bleah. If anything, you can watch "How I Spent My Strummer Vacation" if you're a rock fan, and "Large Marge" to see what the deal was with Marge getting a boob job. And I did kinda like "I'm Spelling As Fast As I Can".

Season 15
Marge vs. Singles, Seniors, Childless Couples and Teens and Gays
*Margical History Tour
Simple Simpson
I, (Annoyed Grunt)-Bot

Season 16
Midnight Rx
Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass
Goo Goo Gai Pan
The Heartbroke Kid

Season 17
The Seemingly Never-Ending Story
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore
*The Wettest Stories Ever Told
Girls Just Want to Have Sums

Season 18
Springfield Up
Moe'N'a Lisa
*Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Three Times

Season 19
Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind
Smoke on the Daughter
*Love, Springfieldian Style

Season 20
Waverly Hills, 9-0-2-1-D'oh
In the Name of the Grandfather
*Four Great Women and a Manicure

And heeeeeeere come the pretzels!

I have some personal favorites I can share that didn't make the Top 50 cut if you'd like that as well. As you can see, it's very Season 13-16 heavy.
Just let me know.

I forget the name so maybe its been listed, but which was the episode where it was like, three stories in one and one of them involved Burns needing a PIC of a smiling child?

The Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your kitchen?

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
I just realized that they managed to actually keep the old folk's home consistent (in that it's actually a pretty good place all things considered) since the Bea ep.

Just a quick reminder that the 12-hour Treehouse of Horror marathon on FXX kicks off in one hour.

Because this was widely discussed in this thread last weekend, I'm now linking you guys up with a timely release from 60 Second Simpsons mainstay Jims @ NoHomers.net who just put out this retrospective on the Who Shot Mr. Burns? two-parter and its many clues and mysteries.

Simpsons Mysteries - Who REALLY Shot Mr. Burns? (Part 1)
Part 2 is now up... time to see where all of this analysis leads.
Just got around to watching this reworked theory on who really shot Mr. Burns if Maggie was simply a convenient cover-up scapegoat and not the actual shooter. It's some really impressive deduction.
If you think you know everything there is to know about that two-parter, think again.
Part 3 in the Who REALLY Shot Mr. Burns? series is now up. This time around the speculative culprit is Lisa. I sort of like the Marge solution better but this theory is more well-founded than I would have imagined.

No, that's the Old Jewish Man from the retirement home. Tch. And you call yourself a Simpsons fan.

Yea he's the guy that says, "Can your grandfather do this?" and does the weird side to side kicks.

Shit, what was I thinking? For some reason I thought the guy in the pic I posted was a different person.
