The Simpsons |OT2| It's a pornography thread- We were posting pornography

Homer: This next song is dedicated to a very special lady. She's 100 years old and weighs over 200... tons.

Panicking Man: This enormous lady will devour us all!

[Screams and jumps into the ocean]

Homer: I meant the statue!

Oh my god, Oh my god, Oh my god! Where did you get that brownie?!

I've got some ideas to improve the show.

  1. Poochie needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine.
  2. whenever Poochie's not onscreen, all the other characters should be asking "Where's Poochie"?
  3. ...

Replace Poochie with John Cena and you have WWE programming.

Possiblie is one that is so ingrained, I have trouble remembering to actually say "possibly" when conversating with workmates or during small talk with strangers.

Haha same here. I still sometimes respond, "Possiblie," when someone asks me a question. I used to be much worse with it, though.

My other habit was to do that mumbling shrug of Homer's when he's trying to say, "I dunno." I began to annoy my friends with that one. :p

I've always loved The Simpsons. Haven't watched it regularly for like 10 years. The last time I watched was around the same time Hit N Run came out or Road Rage. At this point I'm just waiting for it to end so I can buy the box set.

"Hey America, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, America!"

"Celebrate the independence of your nation by blowing up a small part of it."

Happy 4th of July!

P.S. Go Germany in today's World Cup match. The Simpsons predicted Germany would win it all this year. They're never wrong.

Does anyone know where I can find a list of the most watchable episodes post season 10? Looking for something similar to what Ubertag posted a few pages back but for all the seasons. Looked over at nohomers.net but there doesn't seem to be a clear-cut list.

That's the main problem is that there is no truly clear-cut list. But there are some consensus favorites.

A couple resources I can point you towards are two Top 50 post-classic era polls conducted on the NoHomers.net message board over the past couple years where the most diehard Simpsons fans were surveyed on their favorites. I don't necessarily agree with all of these and there will be episodes that I like outside of this group that didn't make the cut but, by and large, this is a pretty decent cross-section of episodes to get the ball rolling.

Just had to weasle out of a situation and it reminded me of this:

Marge! Don't discourage the boy! Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals....

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
I've always wondered...

Were those recurring background characters who aretwo fat motorcyclists a reference of something?

I really don't understand why the writers constantly try to match Lisa with Milhouse. How it worked in the Lisa's Wedding episode was perfect.
