Do any of you Simpsons experts know who's who in this pic? I recognize Conan O'Brien obviously, and Matt Groening. But the others are really hard to identify. I think the guy next to Matt is George Meyer, and according to comments the guy next to Conan is John Swartzwelder.

twitter is pretty awesome now because some writers are commenting on the episodes (O&W, Mirkin, Vitti, Jean)
O&W are still so invested in their work, the fans and the community. It feels like they never left the show. They're both constantly tag teaming livetweeting the episodes and answering tweets. Those two are really something else.

I think The Simpsons has to be my favourite animated show of all time. I'm not sure what episode is my favourite because there are so many, but I guess one if the most memorable and nostalgic ones for me are Marge Vs The Monorail and Marge Be Not Proud. There are probably more, but these are the ones that I loved the most when I was young.
I watched Brick Like Me recently and I thought it was a great episode, and the rest of the most recent seasons have been kind of a return to form. Maybe it's not quite there yet, but it's certainly getting there, and rather quickly too.

He's right. Maude was essentially Helen Lovejoy Lite for most of her run in the series while enabling Ned's iddlies and religious idiosyncrasies. And we already have a Helen.
She's not even the person he turns to in a time of crisis. That would be Tim Lovejoy.
