bish gets all the credit :)
I know next to nothing about MMA/UFC whatever, but GSP being a local hero and my neighbor throwing a party to watch it, all excited... I decided to check in real quick.

This is more boring than golf. Every time I see a fight it's always just people laying on the ground until one gives up/is too weak. I know it's technical, but it's just not fun at all.

People pay for this? Amazing.
this is a GSP fight. it happens every time. they're not all like this.

Did you not see the fight before this? This is a specific issue with GSP/Silva- they're at a level above the rest of their division and fight very, very conservatively.

Diaz gettin stomped. Shame cause I'm pretty tired of GSP (never was a fan).

Every Diaz fight I've ever seen has been boring as fuck. It's too bad too cause amazing skill would compliment his shit talking so much.

Nick's strength was never any KO power (other than Lawler), it was an ability to have great cardio and keep picking dudes apart. Problem is it's hard to keep that cardio and workrate up when you just spend the first two rounds with a 180 lbs dude on your back.

Anderson really doesn't, usually. The fights with Maia and Leities were largely anomalies. He usually finishes fights.

The way he goes about picking opponents is perhaps another matter.

Also hard to keep that training up when you're an unhinged trainwreck.

No I didn't. I've seen fights maybe 7-8 times and most have been like this, at least when I tuned in or arrived at the bar. Not only GSP, though admittedly that was like 3 or 4 of them.

I admire their level and skill, I just find it incredibly tedious.

How much does this cost to get on PPV, out of curiosity? Anyone around Montreal in here know the local price?

I feel my enthusiasm deflate everytime Nick gets taken down. Why doesn't GSP just finish him?

Kinda my problem with GSP.

It seems like he always stays "around" just to get the win. He'll take ya down and mush all over you--but hey, as long as he gets that win.

I realize that's kinda the whole point--but all his recent fights have been like that.

Edit: Ooh GSP got tagged and bleeding.

And Nick takes a swipe from his back after bell rings--such a scumbag.

Not having footwork his real problem, he won't beat any good fighter with the way he moves.

Well that was nice for 2 minutes, but Georges just felt a punch and had a Serra flashback. Expect Takedown's galore again like the Condit fight.

Well Diaz landed a few shots that round but GSP still landed more.

edit : wow what a douchebag. swinging after the bell. such trash.

Please don't even put Silva and GSP in the same group. Silva pushes the match and finishes his fights. Georges fights to win the round. Both legit strats but there's nothing conservative about Silva.
