Do I create a folder on the memory stick called 'MOVIE' or 'VIDEO' or anything? I've tried placing it in both and it won't work.

Marconelly said:Yeah. Even better, you don't even have to wait for the battery to recharge to continue playing. When that happens, you can just plug it in when you have a chance, and as soon as you do that, you can power it on and continue playing while the battery is charging.
I decided on that too (and I bought a Martin Fields). I figure I would've probably taken it off in a few months anyways, after the obsession of having a scratch-free, dust-free, fingerprint-free PSP has passed. The Experiment said:Don't buy Intec screen protectors. I got one and applied it on. One air bubble but the screen quality had this dull yellowish look to it. What the fuck? Took it off (no adhesives left on, thank the Lord) and threw it away. $10 pissed away.
I just decided I won't need a screen protector. I take excellent care of it.

Sony has announced it will 'make its top 500 films available digitally in the next year' according to a report on the BBC, with Sony's iPod replacement being the PSP
You do know there is a game mode for that, right?Mrbob said:I love Wipeout Pure, but sometimes I wish I could play race the tracks without being fired upon.
michael000 said:Ok having a slight problem myself with videos. I decided to check out a downloaded video from pspconnect and the videos refuse to show up under the Video section of the XMB menu. I'm sure i'm missing something totally obvious here but i'm not seeing it. The memory stick is the one packed with the value pack and is formatted through the PSP. It shows pics and plays music fine so i'm not sure what the problem is.
The video folder is as follows
PSP -> MP_ROOT -> 100MNV01 -> M4VC0099.MP4 (file that's part of the setup folder from PSP connect)
I go to the video part of the menu then hit X to check the memory stick and it says "There are no videos." Ok, what totally obvious step am i missing?

I so agree! The sleep mode is so fucking cool. This in my mind is the greatest invention in gaming in a long time. It's so cool that everytime I wanna go back to a RR race I am only 2 seconds away! LOVE IT!Miburou said:The PSP's sleep mode is amazing. I was playing some MGA last night, wanted to go to bed so I just flicked the power button. I wake up today, turn the system on, and in 0 seconds I'm at the menu, ready to go. I wonder how much battery power it takes though to have a system in sleep mode for 12 hours straight?
Race in free race mode before taking on the other modes to get a feel for the controls and physics of the game. If you're having trouble in venom, you won't last long in any of the other modes.Mrbob said:I love Wipeout Pure, but sometimes I wish I could play race the tracks without being fired upon. I've made it to the Venom Ascension tournament, and it drives me crazy whenever I'm trying to pass a couple ships I get bombarded with weapons. I'll be running up behind a ship and hear "Mines" and I'll be OH SHIT and take a couple mine shots and then I hear "Missle" and get hammered from behind. Then half my energy bar is gone by the time I finish the first lap! :/ It gets a little frustrating at times to keep on getting hammered with weapon shots.

I know there's got to be something out there.

mrklaw said:I'm getting that too. Its also annoying that you do a nice turbo off the start, then suddenly all the craft fly right by you.
I can probably manage to get gold in Venom, but its a big jump from vector, and you start to notice the framerate (not really noticable when you are going slowly). I'll have to practice a lot for the faster leagues.
Plus zone tracks (i think there's four total) and classic tracks.Miburou said:Wipeout Pure has only 8 tracks? And they're not that varied, so WP -1.
robertsan21 said:IMPORTANT Question
I live in europe, so when i charge my PSP i use a step down converter to change to power so i wont Toast my PSP.
now to my Question, if i hook my US PSP up with the USB cable and attach it to my PC to transfer pictures and stuff to the PSP´s memory stick does that work? or will my PSP get Toasted?
or maybe it wont work at all, maybe i need to take out the memory stick and attach it to one of those memory stick dock ports and transfer the pics to it like that...
please help me
thanks
Prince said:no problem to use it that way plus you don't need a step down converter you can just use a cable like the one that's with you ps2.
robertsan21 said:are you sure that it works?
My PS2 is also from USA and i use a stepdown for it.why would it not burn if i use a normal pal cable?
My US GC burnt for me when i used a normal PAL cable
gofreak said:As far as I'm aware, the adaptor is universal. You just plug the appropriate cable in (a figure of 8 power cable). At least I hope this is how it is, as I just spent 5 on a new cable yesterday
robertsan21 said:ah super!
i guess i have to run and buy a power cord and plug it in to the charger that came in to box of the PSP.
but my real question was can i plugg the USB in to the PSP with out any step down thing?
does not the PC use the eur volt standard and the PSP use the US volt standar, if i hook the USB cable to the PSP wont it get toasted?
gofreak said:A good question. I'm not sure. Someone earlier responded that this wouldn't be a problem. Perhaps the amount of power let through a USB port is the same everywhere?
