Gah, gonna have to buy a PSN card today it looks like. This alongside the sales is definitely not helping my budget for this year.

I didn't have the save bug (yet) but I am scared as shit I will have it when I play this, how do you back up your saves the good way for this game?

I didnt finish the first season after running into the usual telltale crap like framerate issues, audio sync issues, and even entire character models not appearing in cutscenes. I kind of want to pick it up on iOS, but fear it's the same there.

Seems a bit weird to me that, for this game to have won so many GOTY's last year, that there are no reviews for this. I guess I can assume they didn't have review codes?

I remember that the original episodes were released, seemingly, on a whim, like this, but, I think I'll wait for some impressions before buying it.

So each of the 5 chapters have different characters? I imagine this Episode won't hold much emotional impact like the original game. Will download regardless.

Seems like it. Apparently you can play them in what order you want and the decisions you make change things in the other chapters.

Thanks, Drago.

Do we know when the game is out on Vita? I'd love to replay it on it and can wait to play the dlc there if it's soon.

TWD is Steamworks, right? Does it have cloud saves? If I play 400 days on a different computer than the one I played season 1 on but the same steam account, will it still remember my save?

Tweeted telltale about it but no response.

Small price to pay :) I'll be checking at midnight but I'm doubting it seeing as theres nothing up on steam saying it's coming.

The achievements are already up on steam (read a spoiler because of that).

But I doubt they will release it at midnight, most likely around the usual store update or something.

It sounds like it's not really a good idea to play 400 days if you didn't finish season 1, though. Telltale doesn't recommend it.

I beat it on my old PC. So the save file is a moot point. They did say that decisions made in 400 days will carry over. That seems more logical than season 1 carry over being heavily invested in 400 days.

Fuck! I just remembered that I don't have a Walking Dead PC savefile as I played the original 5 on PS3... Goddamn, I want my awesome choices but only 1 day to replay them all :(

All done. Who's making the spoiler thread?

Anyone?

I dont want to replay 4 and 5 again..

Just finished the Vincent opening. God damn, what a decision

I can only really see one point where a season 1 decision had an obvious effect on 400 Days. And it's minor.

So, if I own and completed the Xbox 360 disc version, and that's not installed, can I still download and play 400 Days no problem? Or does it only work for downloadable XBLA release?

edit: read FAQ on site, still confused.

DLC is available for all versions of Season One including retail. You just need the disc in the drive and running to buy DLC, same as other retail games.

As for choices, there are a few bigger things from mid-season but nothing fully breaks if you don't have a valid save. There will be a few "oh I bet ..." moments but you'll be okay.

Just finished it. I really wish they would show you more of the consequences of your decisions rather than just tell you. Performance on ps3 was horrid. I'd rate it a 7.
