the engine is meant to scale and tech demos exist to push maximum eyecandy.

UE4 currently runs on a single GTX 680 GPU. Why are people expecting UE4 to run on any of the next gen consoles? A GTX 680 GPU is beyond any GPU that will be used for the next gen consoles.
As things currently stands only the PC is suitable for UE4.
Couldn't you separate the gimmes and give each card a fixed number of them? Now updated to allow you to block out the items with a click.
I'm now wondering if this might be too easy. I'd like people to have three sheets to play with (isn't that how they do it in Bingo parlors?), but if someone gets most of the gimmies like Bill Trinen, Miyamoto, Pikmin, etc. on the same card, its won't be much of a dramatic win.
Dude, I don't think Bird: The Game, will be received well.
I wonder if Nintendo would use the Zelda tech demo showed last year to build a remake of Twilight Princess? It is clear that Nintendo won't have mainline Zelda for at least a couple of years but Zelda is still the game that sells consoles. Maybe they will just make a "HD GameCube Zelda collection" featuring Twilight Princess and Wind Waker.
^ Probably showing off showfloor demos like last year?

Wii U UE4 discussions are so silly. It's like people just don't want to listen or read up on what we know, pull assumptions out of their arse, then get disappointed when their false expectations are assumed wrong. Those waiting on the edge of confirmation are doomed to fall because of their own foolishness.
I can guarantee you 100% that UE4 will run at least on PS4 and Xbox 720. UE is a huge part of Epic's business. There is no way that they make it exclusive to PC.UE4 currently runs on a single GTX 680 GPU. Why are people expecting UE4 to run on any of the next gen consoles? No idea. That stuff is way too low level for me.
I have no idea what to make of this, considering both Sony and Microsoft are expected to use AMD CPUs:

I'm 99.9% certain this has nothing to do with Wii U, but whatever. By the way, there doesn't seem to be an IBM research facility in Chippewa Falls. Only Cray seems to have a development center there.
As they say, hope for the best but expect the worst; don't let hope get in the way of expectations, so that when we eventually find out no GTA 5 or UE4 there is little disappointment.

Let's put this in context. UE4, at what most likely is max settings, is running on a single GTX 680.
Name me all of the UE3-based games on PS360 running at 1080p/60 at max. And remember these consoles came out after UE3 was announced.
wait...
I was here when BG said goodnight...
an I am here at 11am when he posts again
WTF is wrong with me? this insomnia thing is... Where the hell is my WiiU Nintendo?!

Can you point me to a link stating the tech demo ran at max settings?
Moving away from this discussion, probably another one we've had before
But which company are you most looking forward to revealing their next game at e3, if they do.
-Retro Studios
-MonolithSoft
-EAD Tokyo
If UE4 doesn't run on wii u I'd be really surprised.

What if Retro is making a new IP, modern military, multiplayer focused shooter. That'd be weird.

It doesn't matter. If you don't think UE4 will run on the NextBox, you're a fool.
Monolith. I wanna see X-Files: The JRPG, dambit! XD

did anyone ever consider Nintendo has in house engines that could make the WiiU shine better than anything because it was built solely with the WiiU in mind? Wii don't need no stinking UE4
Retro first. Then EAD. Monolith would be awesome, but I kinda just got Xenoblade last month...
i just want xenogears 6 with 4 player co-op.
NintendoWare has been talked about before in a limited sense.
There's Xenogears 2-5? That's some rock I've been living under.

Yes, but it doesn't help with multiplats.
The only reason anyone wants UE4 is because of multiplats, which the Wii U will need.

First come, first serve.
Iwata and Miyamoto have both pretty much said they don't want to enter the FPS race.
Rather, I think we'll see more of an adventure game from them.
Between Monolith and Retro, we basically have a shot at having two games of the generation out in the first couple of years that aren't Mario or Zelda.
Man.
By the way, found this neat video of the 3DS being used as a guide tool at the Louvre:

Has there been any such - what's right the word - unconventional uses for the Wii, and do you expect to see such uses with the Wii U?
Iwata has never said that. They would absolutely love a first-party FPS for that demographic. But Retro Studios FPS would probably be more inline with an FPA rather than a military shooter.
You are excited over things that do not exist! OMG! But while Monolith and Retro Studios are good, you definitely have a Nintendo hyperbole on them. I mean, both have been making games since like 2002, and I can't say every game was significant. You can't even guarantee the Monolith game will be an international product.
What the fuck is wrong with you? I asked for link and you call me a fool.
