I'd rather see more experimental stuff as full fledged retail games again. And if they already did that with Epic Yarn, nothing would speak against something like this.
Sure, but all I'm saying is it would allow them to gauge popularity on those as potential full fledged games.

Well, it's not really a hype building thing, just a neat little what if. I would love that a year or so after the big Zelda game, that's the real hype machine.

I think people talk about the paper idea or the stained glass idea because they've grown bored with how Zelda looks nowadays. So some people want an art style that is drastically different from other Zelda games.

That is the stupidest rumour I've ever heard to be honest. If it is real...well, I guess I'll wait to see how it looks and plays, since I'll give Retro a chance at just about anything.
Same here, love Trauma Team and SMT. I'm okay if they just show off stuff for the 3DS, but I'd like announced WiiU titles too.
As far as Zelda talk goes, I just want a 2D Legend of Zelda. Stained glass, paper, whatever they want to use, I just want a (kinda) New Legend of Zelda game.

That gif also reminds that I LOVE how you could see the actual locations/worlds of the game from the hubworld/Defino Isle, like the big ferris wheel there in the gif. It felt like it was all connected.

Mario Sunshine is actually the only game in this list for which I ever had to look up secrets on the internet. After looking them up, I wondered “if I were in prison for 20 years with no entertainment other than Mario Sunshine, could I find all these blue coins without a FAQ?” Probably not, I concluded.
