Ugh the Naughty Dog talk is so silly as is people who think the Wii U couldnt do what Naughty Dog does.
Will the Wii U ever get pushed that hard? Thats upto developers and Nintendo. That said the machine can do everything Naughty Dog does on the PS3 and much more.
Hahaha typo, but come to think of it... the graphix r so realistic, the jumpsuits are sure to attract a whole new demographic! and Always Sunny Fans! Brilliant!
I never noticed before, but I guess Link is officially right-handed now.

Considering one of the main complaints regarding SS is that left-handers were at an odd disadvantage, I think if they keep motion controls moving forward, you will be able to specify if he's left or right handed.
That's a rather complicated question. While bells & whistles are often enabled at advanced stages of the dev cycle (just because said features are often developed in parallel with the rest of the project tasks), there's normally a stage past which visual bulletpoints are not introduced anymore. Unless said bulletpoints had an originally well-known impact on the framerate, i.e. they were accounted for from the start. Or, during the late profiling and optimisation stages, a breakthrough was made which either freed up sufficient resources for extra features which were previously not meeting the bar, or somebody figured out how to implement cheaply a feature originally deemed too costly. But as a rule of thumb, planned visual features are not left unchecked till late into the dev cycle, when they'd be 'switched on', fingers crossed they would not throw the framerate in havoc.
That said, if U-GPU does implement MSAA for cheap, the presence or absence of FSAA in the final product might be a matter of whether devs managed to leave sufficient spare edram for NxMSAA or not.
Nintendo should definitely not have a problem with overlooking art in favor of technical shortcuts. That's the good part, the negative, of course, would be if their attention to detail leads to unreasonably long development cycles. I hope they've expanded enough, but i'm sure they have thought of all of this, especially given the difficulties the 3DS had right out of the gate, and Iwata's assertion that they have learned from them and will not repeat them.
Also i'm pretty excited to see just how much work Square Enix has put into upgrading the visuals from DQX, it IS pretty much their biggest game now, since Final Fantasy has fallen so far, hopefully it is more than just an Upressed version of DQX on the Wii, which I actually don't mind visually but is only in line with DQVIII approximately (not that that is bad for an MMO)

I could be mistaken, but didn't Retro actual hire some new staff that worked on the Uncharted series as well? Perhaps an artist? For some reason I remember that from the thread about Retro's hirings for their new game, but I could be remembering incorrectly...
Oh this is in community, no wonder i never saw this thread :lol
Wait a what, you here, I haveth been lied to, we're gonna have to work on our bad communication.
Nah, just forget it.

If anything you should say "I'm going to post all the time" to make it better!
Funny you say this as I'm currently revisiting the game (also my least favorite main Mario game, for the same exact reason, M64>*) and I'm finding the game alot more enjoyable this time around, it feels very fresh and new I don't even remember half the stuff i'm doing which is great, if things continue like this it might end up ranking above galaxy games in the end for me.I want a Mario Sunshine HD remake. That's one of my least favorite games in the main Mario series. But I know I went into it wanting Mario 64 2, so i'd like to give it another shot without putting those expectations onto it. Of course Nintendo would have to release a controller with analog triggers, and I don't know if there's a good chance of that happening.
Assassins Creed 3? Don't care for AC
Rayman Legends? Budget release on PC
Darksiders 2? Didn't like the first, maybe on pc
Alien Colonial Marines? YES. Probably unless the pc version is much better.
Metro Last Light? Nope.
Batman: Arkham City? Have it on pc and I like AA much more.
Project Cars? PC. It'd be awesome if Wii U was compatible with the G27 and such.
Dirt? Nope.
Ninja Gaiden 3? Never.
I don't understand the hate that Sunshine gets. It was incredibly well-crafted game. Same, I'd never heard anyone saying they disliked it before coming here. It certainly has to do with the theme, because the gameplay is superb.
Skype (or Mumble) Post-Conferences Reaction:
Here how it's going to work. (FOR REAL THIS TIME!)
First, we need a host, that will stay for the whole hour, recording the session to later edit it and put it up on GAF so other people can listen to the reactions and discussions.
The host will need to put have all the participants Skype IDs, as he will invite them to the conference call OR set up the mumble server.
EVERYBODY WHO WANTS TO PARTICIPATE CAN. There is no limit! We'll then divide everyone into groups of 4. Each group will have 15 minutes of discussion, after that the host will demand the current group leave the call and invite the next group.
The groups won't be made today. I will only list who will participate and we'll divide later.
Host:
1. BY2K
2. AceBandage
Link doesn't work.
I'm trying to think of any game that has made my palms sweat more than this one. Any one greater challenge. I can't. Those FLUDD-less levels made me want to scream at times, but when I was done.. I felt so damn proud.
I know I say I love Galaxy better, and I do, but my heart wouldn't be broken one bit if we saw a return to that island.
I may try to make a seprerate video of my reactions, tho I am usually silent during reactions and do all the reacting in my head.
Always loved jetting through the water in FLUDDs waverace mode, amazing fun only beaten by the Zora mask.

Is Ace's ban a perm?

Holy fuck how that happened?
They got sick of his shit.
I want an open world-ish 3D Mario that is similar to Star Fox 64 as in there are a ton of different bratching paths to choose from to get to the final boss, but there is almost zero loading or loading hidden behind entrances/doors/etc similar to Metroid Prime.
No menu, no stars, no red coins, just taking a path and exploring your way to Bowser. This way you can take totally different paths each time and technically experience new content/experiences each time you replay the game.
