That's my problem sadly. I do want to finish playing Dragon Age, but I was FORCING myself to get through the game, which is disappointing since I like the lore of Dragon Age and want to see what happens to Morrigan and Flemeth.

Witcher 3.......is so damn good. I was not expecting this!!

You wanna know what happens?

Fucking nothing.

I just remembered that I just picked a random Witcher 2 save to use as a base for my decisions. I was planning on restarting after I was done doing graphics tweaks. It just had a massive list of saves, and I had no idea what was what, I doubt the one I picked was even an end game save (is that possible?) Now I'm 40 hours in. No turning back now. I guess I'll be surprised when I see who's still around.

game and storytelling are excellent, but the sound glitches during cutscenes are awful on the XBO version. Hope that fix is in the next patch. Baron missions continue to deliver the fun! hit level 12.

I ran into a lot of that on the Xbox One version during cutscenes. It is one of my biggest complaints.

40+ hours and I'm still rocking the starting armor. All the other armors look terrible. And the starting armor is so good for screenshots. I could probably take a lot more damage if I changed though.

They should of had more upgrade options for that gear. I kind of miss it look like a badass in it.

Jesus christ Velen is fucking massive...

Been hunting down Merchant for some Gwent games. Haven't lost a single game yet (AI sucks), even have started coming up against Merchants with bull shit hero cards and 10 power archers. I just got my first Hero card.

Combat and controls are kinda meh but everything else has been spectacular. Man I thought DAI was huge in terms of scope but this game tops that game in just about every department (and I greatly enjoyed DAI mind you).

Ohhh, does swallow regen upo meditation once I've created it? Don't have it right now.

As long as you have alcohol any potions, oils, ect. that you have will refill after you meditate.
You cant abuse potions too much, I've gotten poisoned once.. lol, so make sure you also bring some water, raw meat, ect.

Yeah I upgraded it once and it's still doing the job, even though It's like 10 levels below me. No way I'm wearing one of those lame ones.

Yeah I did that upgrade but then I switched to that Temerian armour - it didn't look too bad. Sadly sold that starter gear and don't think I can get it back.

No spoilers please, but a question for those who've finished. I haven't looked at trophy lists for this game (and likely won't until it's over). When the story ends can you return to complete everything or are there reasons you'd need more than one play through to get platinum? I am playing on the highest difficulty, fwiw.

yup, seems like most of the creative design work for armor went into the Witcher gear. pretty much everything else looks uninspired or just ugly.

Anyone find a way around the King's Gambit endless loading bug? I didn't know it was a thing and my last manual save is a few hours back (not like it matters since you need that quest to progress).

Pain in the ass. Hopefully we get a patch soon.

Did I encounter a bug?

I have 8 bottles of alcoholest, just crafted a Dwarven spirit, and I mediate, and meditate and meditate some more but my bombs do not replenish.

It no longer tells me alcohol was used to replenish my supplies.

When I hit L1 it does not show my bombs, so what gives?

If someone replies back quick that would be great, trying to knock out this shrieker contract before bed

I'd agree with ugly, but I dunno about uninspired. It fits nicely in the world with the armor seen all over, and helps the witcher sets stand out more.

Starter tiers of the witcher gear are pretty ugly too though. Bear and the starter set are probably the only sets they put any thought into lol

Only discovered tonight that standing by a campfire or hearth regens your health very quickly, useful for Death March.

You can go back and finish off everything is what I've heard, however there are missable trophies in the story which is downright sadistic IMO. They're not too missable but they're missable nonetheless.

I'm looking to continue on the PC version after playing a significant chunk on the PS4. I don't really want to start fresh so I'm looking for a save file that is decently close to mine if anyone could share one with me.

Spoilers for where I am:

I have completed the Dandelion and Roche side quest in Novigrad and Hattori's line. I have the assassination quest from Djikstra. I have just started on Skellige, Yennefer has set out to investigate the explosion just after the wake ceremony. I didn't engage in a relationship with Triss or do anything with Keira.

If anyone can help out here that'd be great. I'd like to continue experiencing this on the PC.

10 hours in, and I still can't figure out the combat system at all. I set it to the easiest difficulty and I'm still getting my ass whooped.

About an early quest once you immediately arrive in No Man's Land...
How do I beat this werewolf? His health is regenerating too fast, so if I back away to dodge his attacks, his health goes right back up. And I can't stand in and mash - I get wrecked. I need some help.

How do you beat this goddamn fucking werewolf? I get some damage and all he does is heal himself like crazy and my health takes forfuckingever to regen consuming shit.

So fucking sick of these enemies that can kill you in two fucking hits.

This is what i did and i was underleveled(death march mode)
Equip that skill that lets you poison enemies when you apply oil to your silver sword and upgrade it as much as you can.
It´s pretty easy to poison the werewolf but remember to re-apply the oil often so he can´t regain health,it´s even easier if you have the oil for cursed enemies and upgraded Quen.

guess I just wish more of the Witcher gear sets were available from the beginning. or maybe that there were just more sets period.

I thought the starting Griffin set looked OK. Feline armor was kinda wack tho.

1. That is an awesome tip, thanks.
2. D'oh. Well I guess if needed I could do a second run on easy mode and just gat anything I missed in my real game and keep my death march save for expansions and stuff.

Fun fact: Bleeding damage scales with the mob's HP regardless of the amount of damage that you do. Just took out a red skull wyvern relatively easily by sticking bleed on it over and over. Did about 20-30 damage a swing with my sword, bleed did about 300 per tick.

Yeah, save for a few of the special animal armors I've seen, but those are only late in the game. I want that bear one.

Is there no way to upgrade the armor you start with? It looks so badass. I'm like lvl 20 and just went back to it. It makes the game super challenging, but it's worth it

Just finished the game, pretty happy with my ending, except for a few details.

Massive final story mission spoiler :
I was wondering what a conjunction of the spheres would look like, and was pretty stoked to see the chaos and monsters appearing. This world is so awesome.

The upgraded Feline armor is most aesthetically similar to it. Although I think you get the chainlink version with the superior version, and that's like lvl 27 stuff.

Didn't get the memo regarding the 14th Amendment
This has probably been answered before, but I got the
Crystal Skull
in the very beginning of the game, but how important is it? I know a lot of people apparently missed it, so I imagine it couldn't be that important.

You just get a bit more flavor dialogue with Yennefer, there's a similar item for triss as well later on.

Wait, what. This is a thing? Is every platform affected? Does it just stop giving you quest XP?

Yes, do a green quest(quests around your lvl) and check if you get any XP to see if you're afflicted. There is some confusion since grey quests(ones way below your lvl) also don't give you any XP, but this is by design.

2015 and we still get games where you can't pause a cutscene....anyways

Phone rang at work and I always miss out on the biggest story exposition bits, can anyone spoil the scene that begins when you meet the Baron in Velen....
and ends with you playing as Ciri? What happens to lead to that?

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
There are too many quests. Not in total, but coming all at once. Can't walk ten feet without tripping over another quest. An annoying trend in videogames to pack maps so densely with quests/areas of interest.

Witcher 3 is better than most in that the quests are actually pretty good, but I get tired of RPG's not giving the player any room to breathe. The more shit piles up in the quest queue and the less a game feels like a coherent story, and just turns into a poorly paced laundry list.

It quickly feels like chores. Really wish a dev would figure out how to do this stuff in a more organic way. This game is better than most, but it still suffers from quest creep (for lack of a better term).

Ok, if that's all then that's good. My friend was worried that it was a pretty crucial item (as far as a bonus goes), so I was kinda trying to help him not worry about it if I knew more about it.

Dammit, I finished a couple of quests tonight and cant remember if I got any xp or not since there's a chance a few of them were gray ones.

Christ, something like this seems pretty game breaking.

Jumping in this game is fucking broken, I can sequence break super long intended dungeon shit by just jumping over a wall and stuff, so silly.

Wow, have people really claimed to have spent 20 hours in White Orchard? I don't see how that's remotely possible. I'm not even sure if I've played 20 hours and I've cleared a bunch of quests and areas in Velen.

I had 23 hours in Wild Orchard doing everything and just taking my time, before moving on to the next area.
