You can cap it at 30 or 60
30, 60, or Unlimited.
Or use a third party tool like Riva Tuner (google Durante's PC gamer Witcher 3 article) which sometimes gives smoother results (read Durante's excellent explanation in said article).

So I've been messing a little with th game and my GTX980 for that 1080p/60 Ultra goodness.
OC'd my GPU to:
1400 boost clock
7700 memory clock
power 125
max temp ~ 80
target FPS 60
Reduced Hairworks AA to 2
Hairworks for Geralt only -> love that beard
Foliage to ultra
Shadows to Normal
Everyting on else ultra
The only ever so noticable framedrops (to ~50 FPS) are during cutscenes when the camera is litterally hugging Geralt's headfrom the side or behind.
Love it.

The way it resolved for me was
Triss and Geralt pulled the key to a vault off of Menge's body after Triss stabbed him through the face (I went through with her torture because Geralt GETS SHIT DONE, YO) and then Geralt gave the key over to Djikstra/Reuven and basically said he never agreed to actually find the treasure, just give him the means to get it back or something.

Oh no. CD Projekt, what are you doing?! You can't write dumb jokes about Triss's lack of scars when you've removed them because you like tits too much and couldn't accept a character who doesn't like to show them off due to past trauma.
It's so pointless and dumb. I don't think there's any way the character could've heard about the scars, so I guess it's supposed to be some kind of meta commentary(?). An admission of guilt? The writing in this game can be so good and such a bummer sometimes.

Although there is a way to postpone your decision with Triss, but it's rather convoluted and one of the dumbest things in the game

Ok so I'm on the quest in the swamp where I'm supposed to decide between
and I am so confused on what to do damnit. Should I just choose blind and live with my consequences or use my strategy guide and look up the "better" choice. Aggggghhhhh

if you're not sure
who you want to end up with then don't do Now or Never quite yet. Wait until you get to know Yen better and decide which lady you like better then say yes to one and no to the other. Though be warned that if you end up wanting to go for triss she has special requirements so she ends up with you

I'm in Novigrad doing the Act 1 quest
Get Junior. I'm just traipsing through the streets on my way to the arena when Zdenek falls down dead right in front of me for no reason whatsoever, and I loot his invitation to the arena off his body. Is something amiss here? Cuz this doesn't feel quite right.

The torture part is pretty light and I think it makes talking to Menge a extremely tense scene, so it's fun.

While we're on Menge, this reminds me,
is there a way to make him reveal where Dijkstra's treasure is ? I wanted to cut the torture short so I ignored the dialog option to ask him where it was. So Dijsktra was a bitch about it alter (I hate that guy).

looks like i can finally start using another gwent deck. i like the standard deck, but i needed some change.

Anyway, I am not able to talk to the alchemist/herbalist in northeastern Novigrad who's supposed to be able to buy monster trophies at full price. I was able to talk to him once many hours back on my current save files, but whenever I show up now he just stands there, and it's not possible to chat him up. Anyone else experienced the same and knows how to fix it?

Yes,
you just ask him and he tells you, it's not on the map so there's no additional quest, it's in Kovir
If you ask him about it he'll say it's locked up in Kovir. I reloaded because he attacks you afterwards. So not sure if telling Djikstra about it being in Kovir is enough.

41 hours, haven't set foot in Skellige yet. Such a great game.
