I think it's too late.
I haven't seen any of the performances since I'm waiting to watch them tonight. How much did Yuna actually lose by? After the short program last night, she was only ahead by like .2 points.
All that salt
Eh. Italia vs South Korea at FIFA WC2002 (paid referee, he was even arrested for smuggling kilos of heroine later) in South Korea+Japan.
Italy's Cammarelle (super heavy-weight boxing) got robbed of a clear-cut Gold in London in favor of (surprise surprise!) british boxer Joshua.
Bulgarian Jordan Jovtchev (rings) shockingly (not really) robbed of gold at Athens 2004 in favour of homeboy Tampakos.
But yeah, Kim's on par with the former two, Kostner's is not as scandalous but still absolutely fucked-up.
So much salt, Sotnikova's program was nothing short of breathtaking, you fools.
Why is this happening? Like... a tie with an empty net? Someone explain...
What's with all the "eat shit Canada", "fuck Canada" posts in this and the other thread?

Indeed.
There are a set number of elements that have to be performed and each element is graded on difficulty and quality of completion (posture, landing, etc) Sotnikova won because she went for a much more complicated series of jumps and successfully pulled them off. I'd of thought after the excellent display she put in yesterday it would hardly of come as a surprise that she was going to pull out all the stops. Given she'd effectively been overshadowed by Lipnitskaya during the build up she didn't really have anything to lose.
Damn, that's a lot. I guess I'll see for myself tonight. Typically, it's Yuna doing the outclassing so it's weird to see her get beat by that much. There was a nearly 6 point difference.
