I will still fight any of you to the death for the Dufour-Lapointe sisters.
I'll claw eyes and go for the nuts, I have no honour.

Defended gold, hard to argue with that. Should have Bilodeau with them too.
He was back in Montréal a week ago already.

Thanks man!
Anyone know when the closing ceremony officially starts?
5th place for us is amazing. Ahead of Germany and pretty close to the US.
Exactly 20:14 Sochi time, 11:14 EST.Thanks man!

I'm not sure how it all works, but if I were an athlete and my event was early.......I'd want to stick around for the next two weeks.
It's just over 40 mins away.
Exactly 20:12 Sochi time, 11:12 EST.
The problem is flying out when everyone else is trying to fly out after the games are over. It happens every Olympics.I'm not sure how it all works, but if I were an athlete and my event was early.......I'd want to stick around for the next two weeks.
Disappointing Olympics for America. Hopefully our speedskating and hockey teams bother to show up next time.

There is always an emptiness inside when Olympics end...here's hoping for a great closing ceremony.

I feel this so much. I love the Olympics just because of the sense of activity and togetherness they create for 2 weeks. I'm glad they don't happen more often but it is sad to think that we won't see these people for another 4 years. Well, most of us.
I'm kinda glad it's coming to an end. I need a shit ton of sleep after waking up at 4 am for two weeks straight. I was starting to ge burned out.
Korea will be even worse.
Beijing ruined 2 weeks of my life. Brazil will as well but at least the World Cup times are decent.
This Winter Olympics made me realize I don't give a shit about anything but speed skating, so I won't be feeling the void I felt after London 2012 or any Football cup or marathoning a show.
I have colleagues in London that took time off to work the games (be runners or whatever) and they said they never felt like London was happier. Must be nice. I was too young to really remember what the US was like when we last hosted it, but I'm pretty far from Salt Lake anyway.
The summer olympics totally are better tho.
Excited Rio is only a couple hours out of EST.
Does anyone follow the Paralympics? You never really hear about those.
Hot pot of coffee on, snowing outside, tasty omelette at the ready and the CBC replay of the gold medal game about to start. Life is GOOD
