Thinking of picking up Roger Rabbit on DVD. . .

But it's inevitable that Hollywood will fuck me over with a Super-er-er Edition DVD release right after I buy my copy.

So, has there been any word on a newer DVD release being issued any point in the near future? I checked Google, and no results - but I reckon the GAF DVD Collective would have more wisdom to impart me.

I need the Jessica Rabbit hotness and the ZOMG! BOB HOSKINS IS A COCKNEY?!

I just realized the other day; I could probably buy more DVD's and budget games if I stopped buying so much booze. :lol

They already did the special edition. They came out with the bare bones, and then a couple years ago they did the Vista Series.

Both are still censored though.

That was just a discoloration. They censored Baby Herman's finger in the beginning and some other stuff.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
I really don't see how they could improved on the second release except having the feature in HD... and putting the tits (Betty Boop's) and beaver (Jessica's) back in, which isn't going to happen. The supplements are exhaustive.

Okay, cool.

I'm just really wary of DVD releases these days. For the most part, studios have been doing well on giving consumers the heads up on special-er editions later down the road; then there's shit like Dawn of the Dead - which goes out of print for several years. Then comes back. Then comes out a few weeks later, with the special edition. Then later with the Ultra Buju Banton / Elephant Man Collaboration Special Biscuits and Gravy Edition. >:|

FUCK! FUCKER! FUCKY!

I can understand if it's something like Hellboy, and you're a total fucking nerd like me - so it's worth owning the unique Guillermo del Toro / Mike Mignola audio commentary tracks; but if you're just fucking me in the ass by incrementally adding shit to sweeten the pot - DON'T MAKE ME TORRENT YOUR SHIT, BITCH! :p

The version that's out now is the super-er-er edition.

BUYING!

Airmaster ROCKS. I wish it was longer though...manga is still ongoing.

I dunno, I kind of wish what was there went on a bit longer. If only because you can see right around the last five, maybe eight, episodes where they just crammed more shit in there than they needed to because the series was ending and they probably weren't getting a second season. :/

Basically all the weird shit involving that Necro looking dude.

Everything up until that point was golden.

Still - Air Master is a damn sight better than the rest of the assholes shooting colored balls / beams of light at one another "fighting" anime.

And god damn it, I want the Fighting Vipers team to make a licensed Air Master fighter for the PS2. OMG that would rock!
