Tempted to get Path of the Goddess but more tempted to wait and see if any of these games ever end up on real carts later on. In the meantime I'm plenty distracted by the burning question of how well Switch 2 power will improve certain Switch 1 exclusive games...

fast fusions

simply because I think this series is almost owned by Nintendo ( I know its not ) but I have never seen it outside Nintendo console and It kinda gives my Fzero fix . so only that.

rest I can play on Pc with much better quality so no thanks.

I voted for Elden Ring, Final Fantasy, The Duskbloods, and Hogwarts Legacy. The first three are basically guaranteed, and I already bought Hogwarts Legacy on sale a couple of weeks ago in order to take advantage of the $10 upgrade.

I didn't vote for Cyberpunk, Hitman, or Fast Fusion, but I'm strongly considering them. Street Fighter and Yakuza are also possible someday when they're on sale.

-elden ring
-hogwarts legacy
-maaaybe cyberpunk
-fortnite (its a free upgrade to a free game, so why not?)

My wishlist of third party/xbox ports:
-halo mcc
-oblivion remastered
-doom the dark ages
-dragon ball sparking zero
-7 days to die
-destiny 2 (technically sony but i would buy a portable version of D2 in a heartbeat)

Already bought / preordered:

- Yakuza 0 Director's Cut
- Sonic X Shadow Generations
- Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
- RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Maybe one day:

- BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars
- Fast Fusion
- Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition

I will buy it when it will be available:

- Hades II
- Hollow Knight: Silksong
- FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE
- Ys X: Proud Nordics

I am only talking about games officially announced for NS2.

Everything else i can play in my monster PC or PS5
We don't need a "monster PC" for everything. AA games will look exactly the same most of the time for a much better energy consumption.

I'm interested getting that as well but I don know if I should get it for PS5 or Switch 2.
It looks basically the same on Switch 2 and PS5 (vs Switch 1 downgraded with a lot of aliasing, poor texture quality...) and also 60 fps on both systems.

The only difference is the definition: 1080p vs 4K (Atlus didn't even make a profile for the Switch 2 docked, that's a shame for sure, you get the exact same settings portable or dock). If you really need 4K, then go for PS5, if you don't care, then Switch 2 is basically the same experience than PS5 (and portable obviously).

Yeah I'm not worried about the graphics, these games are not "high tech" enough you would see much difference between Switch 2 and PS5.

Cyberpunk, Fast Fusion, and Kunitsu-gami at launch.
Might also buy Hogwarts for the 3rd time just to stick it to the SJWs.

Will probably end up picking up COD as well, haven't played the series since Advanced Warfare so could be interesting to jump back in.

cyberpunk and hitman for me. I also got Hogwarts but because it was a cheap one to buy/upgrade when they had the discount last month.

I'll see about yakuza 0....would be a great game to play on the go. but I also have it on ps4 ... so prob won't dip for a portable one until I play these games to completion.

Saw a review for the new Rune Factory game that had me interested, but I'm still on the fence. Would have picked up Bravely Default if it wasn't a key card...

None.

For me the NS2 is for Nintendo games. Third parties belong on PC / Deck.
ya this, where is the vote option?
I will eventually get some indies or other ports on it but not at launch. ideally a game that supports cross-progress between PC and switch so I can continue my play wherever i go.

Nintendo & Third Party? Absolutely not.
Playing games on a video game system, what a weird thing! We're not in the 90s...

I don't see any reason not to play third-party games on Switch 2. I don't think that you would get a better experience on PS5 or PC to play Yakuza 0 or Hollow Knight: Silksong. Sometimes you even get some good bonuses exclusive to Nintendo systems actually.

Sticking with strictly announced games. Madden, FFVIIR, SF6 all seem like they will be good ports.

Madden at worst will be better than base ps4. Which is fine, actually.

FFVIIR is likely as good or better than base ps4.

I think Summer game fest could bring new announcements. Likely a Sega Shinobi NS2 version. Which would be good.

used to plays linebacker kinda wanna tries madden again

Nah, I'll just get that stuff elsewhere.

Unless you mean 3rd party Switch 2 exclusives (which I think will be very rare). I guess I might pick up some of those.
Even with mulitplats like Indies and AA Japanese games, with the Power of Switch 2 the differences will basically be negligible with the added benefit of having a portable version of the game.

Switch 2 will easily be my 3rd party machine for those kinds of games.

Edit: Let's say Konami updates MGS Master Collection to run exactly the same as PS5 version. There's litterally no downside to now owning the Switch 2 version instead, plus it's portable...games like that.

That's cool, but as I also want my games physically and on the cartridge I assume 95% of 3rd party Switch 2 titles will be dead to me from the get-go.

Fair enough. I'm willing to compromise for now, but yeah Nintendo and 3rd parties really need to sort that shit out. Not a single person likes the key-card situation (unless it brings a game to the system that otherwise was just too big to physically fit)

Hitman, Yakuza, SF6, Fast Fusion, Bravely Default and Cyberpunk. Probably FFVII later. I've made my peace with the game key-cards. I don't like it, but almost all third parties are going to use them, and at least they're better than straight digital. Hopefully more third parties offer full physical options in the future.
