Nah, this is ain't it. It's funny because it implies that people died doing something stupid, but ends with a funny dance to bring in a bit of levity. Morbid humor. Not, "hur hur black people get the Klan." That's just a dumb racist fantasy.
Same with this one... It's low effort racism. You can't just show people existing and cut to a frame of antagonists who we know want to kill them and then laugh about it... Totally not understanding the formula of this thing.
Nah, the Hitler one was funny, it had an element of surprise and good timing. I mean, knowing the meme we would expect the floor or the ceiling fall, or whatever else be about to stop the dance in the video, but instead it's a quick Hitler cut and getting back to the original meme ending.
This could very well start a new version of this meme, where some people do something somewhere and it cuts to a short image of someone who we know hates/dislikes/disapproves the people we just saw, or in some other form has caused either a literal or figurative death to a thing. It could be something really lighthearted or really dark or anything in between. Like, maybe a video of Star Wars, then a quick cut to smiling Walt Disney and then the ending. Or from the darkest edge, and I mean really
really dark, a video of happy women dancing around, then a quick cut to Elliot Rodger being smug, and then the ending.
It kinda would be only fitting that this type of a new version of the meme would've started with Hitler. Hitler is an odd thing. It's the most memed bad guy in the history.
The KKK thing though, yeah that one fell really flat. Kinda some comic timing right at the beginning, despite the racist tone, but then suddenly zero comic timing and zero punchline. That one missed the mark real hard.
Didn't even flinch. Like a stone, like a rock, like a fucking mountain.
I wondered what you meant by that.
I watched the first video, then the second. Ok, it has to be something about the third video.
Watching the third video, ok, I know exactly what he means, I know it's coming, it happens...... now.
And I still flinched like hell, like a stone and a rock a kid kicks the hell away, like a mountain having an avalanche.
