Rose-tinted glasses? Why are Nintendo games more fun?
Are the special stages in Sonic 2 actually ridiculously hard or am I just terrible at videogames?
Why does money fly out of soldiers, when they're shot in Modern Warfare Multiplayer?
Was reminded about it, when i watched the trailer today for that Call of Duty online game, coming to China.
The ones in Sonic 1 are pretty damn hard.
Sonic 2's just requires decent memorization. Practice more. 19-65-9-17 and start on the bonus stage so you can get the first one out of the way before starting Emerald Hill.
Is there a way to clean PS1 discs (i.e. fingerprints) without scratching the discs up?
Even microfiber cloths, applying next to no pressure (not enough to even get finger prints off anyway), scratch up PS1 discs.
I thought the ones in Sonic CD were the hardest. Sonic 2 wasn't easy but wasn't that hard. Are the special stages in Sonic 2 actually ridiculously hard or am I just terrible at videogames?
The 3000 model has twice as much RAM, a faster processor and much nicer screen. None of the PSP models will work well in direct sunlight. Since you don't own any UMDs you might want to consider getting a PS Vita instead. Most games are available as digital downloads and the second analog stick makes some games a lot more enjoyable. I've never used the TV out feature myself, but I know it's essential for people who're into streaming their playthroughs with other people.
What games are you considering picking up?
The PSV is region free, but you can only have one region activated at a time. If you want to buy games from the US you can order PSN store cards online instead of using a debit/credit card.
A lot of good RPGs can be found on the PSN store for cheap these days. The RPGs below are available directly from a European Vita. If you own a PS3, there are more games you can buy on it and then transfer over.

What full PSP games only got released on PSN?
Patapon 2 (US), Corpse Party, What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 1/2, Unchained Blades, Cladun: This is an RPG, Cladun X2, anything else?
In Europe, most Ghostlight stuff only got a PSN release, I think. At least, I don't ever recall seeing the Persona titles in shops (for instance).

Quick clarification: these didn't make it to Europe on PSN. They do exist on UMD. That means that you could play them on a PSP, but not a Vita.
I wouldn't argue it as a particularly great loss, but if you're particularly fond of the series...
Is there a thread for Android games?
They are basically just CDs, yes?
If so I would wet a portion of a microfibre cloth with clean water and wipe the disc from the hole to the exterior in single straight lines. Then use a dry portion of cloth with the same motions to dry it.
That's what I used to do until I noticed it does leave scratches. The black glossy surface of PS1 discs makes them scratch easily (or rather makes any scratch visible). Most people would not even notice the scratches. I only noticed when I put my games under a UV light to make sure none of them were ever resurfaced. I'm honestly not even super picky about my disc condition, but I'd rather find a way to clean the discs without leaving any micro scratches.
I was hoping there was some sort of Ps1 disc cleaning technique or chemical out there someone could recommend that would break up the fingerprints oil so that I could literally just wipe (no pressure at all) with a cloth and the marks would lift off.
What caused developers to make games "easier" with using regenerative health?

Will the Wii U play Blu Ray movies? Want to get rid of my Xbox and Ps3 but can't do that if that thing doesn't play blurays...

Yep.Question about Playstation +. When a game is free, can I just buy it, but not download it yet and download it after the game is not free anymore? Like am I ok as long as there is the red "Purchased" Psn icon on the game image? (While being a + member of course.)
Damn bandwidth cap in Canada...
Thanks!
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/06/24/playstation-plus-your-questions-answered/ said:Once downloaded, the games are yours to keep and play as long as you are a member of PlayStation Plus. If your subscription lapses and then you re-subscribe, the games you have already downloaded will reactivate, so you still have access to them. Additionally, if you delete one of the titles from your PS3, but decide you want to get it back, then you can re-download from the PlayStation Plus section of the PSN Store if the game is still there, or, if the game has expired from the PlayStation Plus section of the PSN Store, you can simply search for it on PS Store and download it again at no extra cost.

What I used to do for removing fingerprints from PS1 discs was to put some lukewarm water on a saucer, and put some dishwashing liquid in the water, before putting the disc in the water with the readable side down. Then I'd let the disc rest for ~5-10 minutes or so, before using running water (cold or lukewarm) to wash away what dishwashing liquid that may still be stuck on the disc, and then let the disc lean against a flat, vertical surface (e.g. a wall) until it was dry.
That sounds like a more gentle method. I suppose you could put a microfibre cloth in the liquid so the disc rests on that to prevent any scratches from the disc contacting the saucer?
Yeah, that should work too, but if you're careful and don't rub the disk all over the saucer like you're trying to scrub the saucer, I don't think it'd be likely that the saucer would scratch the disk :lol

I assume it's both a mouth *and* a wheel. The gap's necessary to fit the structure of the mouth, but the shape is intended to evoke a wheel.
It's a bit like Miss Saigon's cantonese character / face / helicopter.

Was the Kingdom Hearts HD Collection rumor debunked? I don't want to buy a psp just for BBS.......
There hasn't been any more news since the original reveal at E3 and what was covered in Game Informer.Has there been no info on Assassins' Creed Liberations? None at all?
