Why don't you just put two mirrors on each side of your nose pointing in different directions?

e: Blah, pointless double post. Sorry.
Oh wow, that's too easy :lol

If I'm not back here posting my results in a day or two it is safe to say my head exploded.

What's the difference between a British and an Australian accent? I'm always lingering between the two when I'm trying to identify accents (of characters on TV for example).

Really?

e: To actually answer your question, the accents are completely different. We share the same spelling of words but in terms of slang, accent and so on, it's completely different. Youtube Good News Week for an Australian accent. Something like Fawlty Towers or Red Dwarf for a couple different British ones.

Proper Australians typically have a normal-ish accent which you'll mostly hear closer to the cities and what is now known as a "bogan" accent which you'll always hear further out into the country (>20km). Crocodile Dundee is the bogan accent.

<-- Australian.

I asked the owner of this avatar the source and his response was that "You really, really don't want to know." So obviously that has made me even more curious to find the source. Anyone know?

Judging by the link: m-flo.gif, I searched M Flo in Google and got a Wikipedia page. I assume it's a music video for a song of theirs.

What would happen if you cut Wolverine into to two perfect halves?
Wolverine's healing factor can't "create" flesh, it only allows him to heal rapidly. In other words, he can be killed by cutting his heart out.

Did the guile theme goes with everything meme start on GAF?

And if so is there an appropriate thread filled with guile themed videos for my viewing pleasure?

So that comic where he was a decapitated head was a lie? :O

2. No. Absolutely not. You'll forget it's in 3D after the first 10 minutes and spend the rest of the time watching a darkened film that looks all jittery and just plain shit. After 3D almost ruined UP for me I'll never watch another 3D move in my life. The effect sucks and it's detrimental to the enjoyment of the film, don't even go for the novelty of it.
I agree. The 3D in Toy Story was nothing special. It added NOTHING to the film. Nothing. There wasn't any special 3D effects throughout the whole movie with the exception of the beginning part and that animated short. I saw it in IMAX 3D and I paid $18 for the ticket, which I completely regret paying for.

oh
i didn't know such a thing ever happened

i don't really read the comics :/
how did he get out of that?

I suppose technically speaking if he could somehow be kept alive as he was cut in half and then the two halves were laid beside each other and/or stitched back together it'd be possible for the two halves to "stick" themselves back to each other.

Why has there never in the history of mankind been a rock band frontman with more than 3% body fat?

Are you looking for the specific linguistic answer? Most people have to know by sound, and there are many, many different British accents to boot.

What gives!!! I read the whole "how to make a proper avatar" thread! I even downloaded the program to resize my image and everything!!! Now i'm stuck with this!

Can I at least get a silver medal dumb ass award for just not reading it correctly?!

Did you PM a mod (specifically Red Scarlet) to inform them you fixed your avatar? It isn't automatic.

Can someone copyright batch scripts?

I made some of them for my work and wanted to share them on some forums but I don't know if I should state first on the scripts that they are free to use or something but that sounds like really stupid.

Thanks!

:D

Where's that thread about remembering tv shows, movies etc?

I'm thinking of an episode of a kids show where two boys look at some porn pics, get caught and their parents make them look at pics of naked dudes.

I'm thinking of lizzie maguire and degrassi for some reason.

I have no idea, but there was a thread on here about it. I just remember that he was talking while decapitated :lol :lol :lol

Oh my god, Red! I had no idea!

This is madness.

I demand a name change to Blue Scarlet
=(

I don't know why I wonder this, but I do...

Using the world's most powerful telescope -- and assuming it was looking at the exact right spot -- how close would a giant spaceship (say the size of a Borg cube: 3km x 3km x 3km) have to be for us to spot it and identify it as something non-natural (whether because of its shape or trajectory)?

Is it possible to get banned by tweeting disapproved stuff by GAF TOS on our twitter accounts?

I use to troll the Microsoft Console there :3 (Joking of course)

I did a rough calculation of this, and came up with an answer of about 40AU - roughly the distance to Pluto. This is based on the dimmest object that Hubble has ever spotted. If you want it to be visible by binoculars, it would have to be within 0.06AU of earth - about 20 times the distance between the earth and the moon, or 1/10 the distance to Mars. Mind you, these are rough calculations, and while I think they're right, I'm not entirely sure.

Probably within the outer edge of our solar system. We can track similar sized objects in the Kuiper Belt, but we couldn't see images of it though, and determining if it was an unnatural trajectory might be hard.
