Yeah, compressed air is pretty cheap too, like $7 or so. You have to really keep up with cleaning the inside of it, cause when it gets caked with dust, it could fuck things up and really up the temp in there. Make sure you vacuum the thing as you are using the compressed air so it gets really clean.

If you want to use it on a US carrier, call your carrier's customer service and they will be able to help you.

There are some prepay simcards you can use outside of the US without a specific carrier as well. It basically depends on which service you want to use the phone.

Just have to make sure you ground yourself. I do it all the time when I used to do tech support. I still do it. It's all about being careful. When it comes to computer parts, I am extra fucking careful.

So when I let it heal there's dry blood and scabs in there and I just can't resist picking at it because it obstructs my breathing a little bit (and because of the OCD). I'm not talking about blood streaming out of it or anything like that, it doesn't even come out, I have to use a tissue to blot the inside to see if it's bleeding at all. But man it's really sore when I touch it. I gotta stop picking at it but I don't know how.

yeah but that is written poetry which is very different to what would have been spoken I imagine. I mean, half the times I read Chaucer, I am stopped because of the spelling but if you hear someone speak it and not stop at the oddly spelt words, it is understandable.

Hey I dunno if you're gonna read this but the Vaseline is working GREAT. Thanks! I put it in there overnight and now in the morning again and I can already feel it getting less sore and whenever I get the urge to pick, there's really no crusted stuff to pick because it's not dry.

Vaseline (or just petroleum jelly in general) is the duct tape of skin care.

Offer to reschedule the lesson where it is convenient for that person and do it for free. This sounds like a long term client relationship where you could get new references. It'll also give you peace of mind that you are fixing your mistake rather than just saying you are sorry.

Now he gets sunlight everyday (he was behind some venetian blinds before and now he's in direct sunlight behind the window) and he's not moving at all. Water doesn't seem to be helping.

I've managed to kill a cactus, haven't I? >_< I've had this plant for 15 years, give or take.

I can't believe how much shit they've been able to cram into this poor thing. There's an "kid"-overlay for the desktop that has parental control and amusing parrot recording programs. There's a whole bunch of suite programs for the same purposes and I have no idea where to even begin with this all.

There's like 70+ processes running and I see ton of programs in the program-list and have no idea where to start.

I also didn't get any window DVDs so I have no idea how to do a clean reinstall of this.

Nononono. You're underestimating the differences. Vocabulary isn't the problem, pronunciation is.

English phonology has changed MASSIVELY in the last few centuries. To use Wikipedia's examples, "wipe" would sound like "weep", "feet" like "fate" (though not exactly), "mouse" would sound like "moose", and so on. Words would be unrecognizable.

15 years in the shade and then suddenly in direct sunlight all day? Possibly killed it; definitely shocked it. But many cacti are pretty hardy. Leave him alone for a while. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, maybe even leave it dry for a few days.

What kind of soil and pot did you use?

Has the color and texture of the skin changed?

Naaw My poor boy I'm gonna move him to the other side of my window which should cut down on the sunlight I think (it comes in from an extreme angle afaik). He usually go without water for weeks. The soil is just the regular sort for flowers (that's what he's always had afaik) and the pot is a regular ceramic one (Swedish standards are probably different from yours), just bigger than the old one since he was like 3 times bigger than the original pot xD He looks normal, from what I've seen.
