Zelda question

I am going to play through all of the main Zelda games in order of release (finished the first one yesterday, working on Zelda II now) but I'll eventually get to the Oracle games which came out on the same day. So which should I play first? I was thinking Ages just because it's first alphabetically, but is it better to start with Seasons?

I'm pretty sure that the games were advertised as Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. You should do it in that order. As such, when I think of Zelda games, I think of Seasons as Zelda 7 and Ages as Zelda 8.

Also, when you get to the multiplayer only game Four Swords on the GBA (Zelda 9) and you don't have an extra GBA to game link to, you can dump the game to your PC with a DS and emulate it and play it.

Change the ipod from auto-sync to manual in itunes.

[E] Also, you will need to put the music on the ipod when it's set at manual.
Okay. But when she goes to add music to it and it eventually syncs, it's not going to clear it all out then?

In celsius...

If it freezes -2 at night, and it is +2 during the day (both a perfect 12 hours exactly) what will happen to the ice after the day?

1) if there is prior to the night
2) if there isn't any ice prior to night

ie. does -2 and +2 cancel eachother out?

So yesterday I kill 1/2 a 5th of JD in 5 minutes, maybe a little more. I'm feeling good. So I go to take a piss a little and I notice theres something like a rash on my shoulder. Next 2/3 pisses which occur in 20 minute intervals and the rash like thing has gotten and some splotching on my back. I pay no never mind and go on about my business. The next day everything is fine. Why did this occur? Too fast consumption?

Also, Is puking up massive amounts of blood a sign of alcohol poisoning?

Depends on how sunny it is. As is my understanding UV radiation from the sun is what melts ice outside, not the air temperature.

I'm using craigslist for the first time to sell my ps3 that has a broken blu ray drive. Most of the people who have replied to my ad want to test the system out to see if everything else works.

Being a first timer on craigslist; I'm actually quite scared of inviting some stranger to my house. So, anyone have some advice on how I go about this?

Is there no way you can video the ps3 and do a run through of what works, maybe shoot a clip of the news as well to show it is not an old video? If you have good feedback on ebay that might help to reassure them that you are trustworthy.

If they insist on meeting in person, you could go to a shop or somwhere which could let you hook up the ps3 to a tv (you'd need permission, of course). If you decide to let someone come to your house, you can always request and verify their details and explain why you asking. It may be worth asking someone else to be around at the time, so you aren't alone with the potential buyer.

Make sure you speak to them on the phone and if you aren't comfortable with it or think the person is dodgy, don't do it. Don't worry about refusing people, there are always other people.

North of the equator water runs clockwise in a sink, south of the equator it runs counter-clockwise. How does it run on the equator belt itself?

So I have a Boost Mobile cell phone.

If I buy any ol' unlocked cell phone on Newegg that supports T-Mobile, I can just put my SIM card in it and use it? I don't need to take it to a store, right? I'm tired of my current phone and it's non-customizable ringtones.

I'm thinking about buying a new phone, but might wait until that Google phone is announced. If not that, then I'd get something Symbian or Windows Mobile I guess, I know nothing about cell phones.

Find public outlet in front of a large and busy building. Bring a small TV and the PS3. Plug is in and make him test it there.

oh wow. so under what category should I ask about thread posting abilities (I do have 200 posts and I've been here 60 days)?

Is there any feasible way to develop some sort of energy projection weapon that would deliberately set off enemy munitions? I'm thinking something like that non-lethal force energy weapon they have now that emits something like a microwave beam that makes people feel like their skin is being cooked, although they supposedly suffer no permanent harm.

I was thinking that if such a weapon could be modified to project energy that could cause, for example, bullets to cook off, tank shells to explode, etc., and if such energy could penetrate walls or armor, you'd have a great weapon for taking out entrenched enemies. Just aim the beam at them, and one, all their ammunition is used up, and two, they hopefully get killed by all the ammunition being cooked around them.

I realize this may sound a bit inefficient compared to just dropping a bomb on their position, but I'm sure there would have to be some excellent applications to such a device. Maybe put them in airport security checkpoints so they catch people before they get on the plane with stuff.

There is no practical design for such a weapon. (Long story.) If such a thing did exist, though, you'd get way more use of it by simply killing opposing forces rather than trying to explode their weaponry. If you had some kind of beam weapon that could project energy through reinforced walls...what do you think it could do to troops?

A few years ago I heard a youtube statistic. I can't remember how it was worded exactly, but it was something like Youtube had more hits in a specific year than the entire internet did in a number of previous years. Can someone validate this for me?

Megaten question:

So my hard drive died and I had to get a new one. Obviously all my files went into limbo with it. I now try and hunt down some stuff, mainly pictures, I gathered over the years. In particular Im looking for this Kazuma Kaneko artwork I used as a wallpaper before the melt down. Its a creature from one of the newer Shin Megami Tensei games. Some angelic deity, golden, with six wings and several purple faces iirc. I tried google search but cant stand to scan one more Kaneko fanart archive. Just the name of the creature to get a proper google search going would help tremendously. thanks alot in advance!

Haniel, Kasfel, and Lucifer are sometimes depicted with six wings. Ophanim has four wings and several faces. I'll take a look in my Kazuma Kaneko art books later and see if I can find any other matches.

Thanks for the effort archnemesis. Ive found it at last

What's a solid way to safely dispose of CDs/DVDs and destroy all data on them? Snap em in half? Do those CD shredders actually work?

Okay. Two questions.

First, about retail. Let's say I'm Konami, and I decide it's a good idea to publish Bomberman: Act Zero. I print up a whole batch of games, and stores buy them from me for, say, $53 a pop. But the game's a total bomb. Nobody buys it. The store already paid $53 to get it, but they know that there's no way they'll clear out their stock at that price. So, when they inevitably decide to drop the price to $20, who eats the cost? Does Best Buy send Konami a bill for $33 x whatever number of games they ordered? Does Best Buy just have to suck it up? Do they split it? I'm honestly not sure.

And second, about movies. Specifically, the transferring and archiving of old films into digital, HD formats. TV channels were broadcasting HD movies years before Blu-ray and HD-DVD first came about. And these weren't just newer movies, either. Some of these were movies that'd been shot on film. Say, Star Wars (1977), or Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). How easy is it to transfer movies from the original film into high-def, high-resolution digital versions of themselves? Besides re-encoding it to optimize the bitrate, is there anything stopping Lucasfilm, say, from slapping the 1080p broadcast of The Empire Strikes Back I saw a year or so ago onto a Blu-ray and calling it a day?

Does anyone know the name of the SNL digital short that was on last night? I laughed so hard, but now I can't remember it's name D:

Also if it's on the interwebz yet, I'd love a link.

Driving with your left foot... do people do it on automatic vehicles?

Here in Canada we drive on the right side of the road, meaning that the driver's seat is on the left side of the vehicle. Based on the design of a car interior, you pretty much have to drive w/ just your right foot.

Is it even at all possible to drive with your left foot? I figure the right foot would get in the way, since there's no place you can really keep it stowed away.

In Britain, does everybody drive with their left foot? Are the petals inverted to allow you to drive with your right foot?

Can anybody find that dinosaur with a smoking-pipe in his mouth saying something like, "but I digress".

Also, do you need a XBL Gold account to play XBLA games online?
