It can happen to anyone. Buy some cream and get more fibre into your diet. The more often you're shitting the better, because the softer and less difficult it'll be to pass. The less straining you do, the better.

Any Vbulletin site owners familiar with the Modification for VB 4.1.2 called Product Review Forums?

I had it installed and everything working, except when I would submit a review, I would get this error message:

How do I make the default 'view/zoom' in MS Word 'Page Width'? Every document I create or open defaults to 100% and I always have to zoom in.

For reference: MS Office 2011, Mac OS.

It's 4.17 am and you receive a phone call that brings awful news - there is evidence to suggest there may be a dirty bomb being transported to the US mainland in a suitcase on a passenger jet. Fighter planes are on an intercept course and they are armed. All communication to the passenger jet has been lost. The plane is carrying hundreds of Russian citizens. Moscow believes the information you have been given is maliciously false, that you are being manipulated and that the destruction of that plane by American fighter jets will be an act of war. But if they're wrong, you allow a radioactive weapon into the US - possibly detonated through an intended crashing of the plane into a metropolis area.

You either shoot it down or don't. Which of the two would you choose?
 
Bought a couch six years ago, around $350 (sale price, was normally $799). What's a reasonable price to attempt to sell this for? Or should I just be giving it away now?

I offered to friends for free but no one's biting, lol. It's really clean and comfy!

To Californians, yes, it's still winter.

If you're from sufficiently north, i.e. Canada, it would be better described as "late spring".
Cold nights, but by late afternoon, it's T-shirt and shorts weather.
The beaches will still be 90% tourists.

Can anyone help me understand how Craigslist works? I've had two experiences now where I will reply to an ad saying that I want to buy whatever they are selling, and I never get a damn reply. Then the ad is gone after a week. Why are people putting up ads if they aren't going to sell it?

They tend to be normal people that aren't good at follow up after their underpriced product is sold.

They sell it it to the first person and then forget to remove the ad and delete all the replies from their email when they get around to it.

You can try using some brushes to paint over it manually if it doesn't have a stamp tool.

If you're referring to MS paint, just get paint.net or GIMP and using the stamp tool in one of those programs.

To force a particular zoom ratio on all documents that you open or create in Word, you can use the following auto macros:

Sub AutoOpen()
ActiveWindow.View.Type = 3 'print layout
ActiveWindow.View.Zoom.Percentage = 130
End Sub

Sub AutoNew()
ActiveWindow.View.Type = 3 'print layout
ActiveWindow.View.Zoom.Percentage = 130
End Sub

I have this weird cut (or wart, or something else, I have no idea what it is) on my thumb. It's been around for like 2 years, I never really bothered to get it checked out. But all of a sudden I'm getting worried that it could lead to something bad and it's just annoying me.

Who should I go see, just a normal clinic doctor? Or is there someone else that specializes in hands or some shit like this?

It looks like a wart but you should see a dermatologist.

A question of my own: If I return some items that were purchased with a credit card, but the card has been paid off, what happens with the credit? Do they send a check or it is just applied as "extra" credit that doesn't need paid back?

You'll just have a negative balance. If it stays that way for awhile they'll send you a check I guess.
 
Can someone help me understand how to use the search bar to search GAF?

I am trying to find that thread about buying a TV. I used TV buy, buying a tv, and so on, but I get a lot of talk about 3DTV.

I couldn't find a TV recommendation thread here, so thought I'd post this here instead.

Anybody pretty hot on their TV's? I'm looking at an LG 42LV355U, anybody have any thoughts or concerns? I'm in the UK so may not have the same options as other places.

I'll mostly use it for gaming but to be honest I'm not the sharpest when it comes to details, so minor technical aspects probably won't bother me much.

2. When people say "feed it pizza" or "did you feed it pizza" what are there referring to?

They produce a lot of content that is good for discussion (especially Quick Looks) and are very personality driven which people like.

I wouldn't say every word gets a thread. There is a Quick Look thread, a thread for each Bombcast (which is the same treatment a lot of other popular podcasts get) and an everything else thread to cover their random videos and stories.

Ok this is killing me.

I need to know the name of the classical piece on the harp that plays in the hotel of the episode "The Test Dream" from season 5.

Also the same piece is played on the piano in one of the later episodes of boardwalk empire, where Chalky Whites son plays it on the piano.

I have a question about 30 Rock...I've been watching season 5 on Netflix and there is a character on the show I don't remember, a blond Russian woman who is one of the TGS show writers. She hardly ever says anything, she just seems to stand with the group and smile and nod a lot. I thought maybe this was a joke, that at some point Liz was going to turn to her and say, "Who are you, anyway?" but no, she seems to be a real character.

So who is blondie, and did they ever give her backstory?
