I don't know whether on a technical level VF4 is better than Tekken 5 since honestly, I don't have much experience with VF4...

...but I do think a lot of people don't 'get' Tekken, and devalue it's worth as a technical fighter.

I agree that Tekken 5 is more fun than VF4, but I fully admit to never having "got" VF from 2 onwards. The subtlety and strategy escape me. It seems like a button mash, but then I watch experts play and the fanboy talk seems to be correct. So, I will enjoy my simplistic noisy Tekken, and VF fans can enjoy their subtlety.
