So another underwhelming movie? That’s sad for Hemsworth.
Early reviews are looking somewhat middling.
That's a low barWill give my impressions on thursday.
Got to say im not that hyped, gor the god butcher looks a really boring bad guy, well from what we have seen of him anyway.
It will probably be better then dark world though.

He'll recover. He's a many times over millionaire and he looks like Chris Hemsworth. He's not going to cry himself to sleep. So another underwhelming movie? That’s sad for Hemsworth.
Yeah I'm not surprised that he got his contract renewed. All these investors care about is money lolThe Chapek Era: Edit all MCU movies down to 2 hours to maximize theater showtimes because fuck the plot or anything making sense.
Doctor Strange 2 and Ragnarok are the only MCU movies where the villain was so badass that I wanted her to win.
As if Phase 1, 2 and 3 don't have the same issues?I'm about done with Marvel, after Endgame they just don't have any good story to follow. They are choosing the wrong directors and using the wrong writers and are mass-producing bad movies. Star Wars is walking the same path.
Welcome to the Disney product franchise line! Everything is shitI'm about done with Marvel, after Endgame they just don't have any good story to follow. They are choosing the wrong directors and using the wrong writers and are mass-producing bad movies. Star Wars is walking the same path.

Too bad they aren't able to translate that into the movies. They're literally starting the best comic storyline of the last decade right now (with DS2) that led to the most awesome event since the original Infinity Guantlet.
Same with the Star Wars movies. It’s because of the Nerd Crew-type of reviewers. They’re fanboys first and reviewers second.Strikes me that a lot of these new MCU movies would far far worse with critics… if they weren’t MCU movies.
Exactly, just look at IGN or any other of these outlets, the people reviewing movies aren't movie buffs, they are superhero fans. These movies and TV shows are getting significantly higher scores because of it.Same with the Star Wars movies. It’s because of the Nerd Crew-type of reviewers. It doesn't matter though, as most people are absolute cretins when it comes to stuff like this and would watch a rock falling down a hill as long as it got some special effects on it. Disney is gonna keep making billions by killing famous franchises.
Huh?One could say you aren't a movie buff for hating on the genre....
Huh?
I didn't say they aren't movie buffs because they like superhero movies, I said a lot of sites have a tendency to have the resident super marvel fan review everything marvel, and it's juicing review scores.Who are you to say they aren't movie buffs just because they like super hero movies?
MCU films get reviews from the kind of outlets that the RLM Nerd Crew is parodying. For some reason Rotten Tomatoes includes a shit load of them for their scoring. The average film gets ignored by those places because they have such a small scope. So an MCU film is getting substantially more reviews and from places that are far more likely to be positive.Strikes me that a lot of these new MCU movies would fair far worse with critics… if they weren’t MCU movies.
Oh thank God, I wasn't gonna see it at first.

Than why do you have a Disney Plus subscriptionI think I'll wait for the Disney plus release.
Decided I won't ever pay a dime towards any Disney release.
I can't think of a single good movie released by Disney in the past 2 years.

I fucking hate Disney and everything they make!!!!! They are fucking shiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!!
I'll still watch what they make rather than watch something I might like though.
Lol. I enjoyed Ragnarok. I might enjoy Love and thunder. I might hate it. No way of knowing without seeing it first.I fucking hate Disney and everything they make!!!!! They are fucking shiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!!

I have to say, I think the B&W scenes in this movie looked absolutely gorgeous, really nice. There is more heart and emotion in this film compared to Ragnarok as well.
I'm watching this tommorow. I can't wait to watch it due to being a Gorr The God Butcher fan and that storyline in the comics. How was he in the film?

I personally think he really hit it out of the park and came across as menacing. His scenes are pretty much all played straight which I was happy to see. There could be maybe 1 or 2 lines that come across as "jokey" but it's due to the scene and circumstance that it's in.
Yeah Christian Bale is a fantastic actor. My favorite role of his is Patrick Bateman from American Psycho
