At least you can talk. Who are you?
Add another live action remake to the list.

Disney is ready to take on another of its classic fairytales with a new musical, live-action version of Snow White.

Erin Cressida Wilson, who penned the adaptation of The Girl on the Train, is in negotiations to write the script for the film, which will expand upon the story and music from the beloved animated classic.

The movie will include new songs, with songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who most recently wrote the lyrics for La La Land, attached to pen the new music.

Marc Platt, who also is working with Disney on Mary Poppins Returns, is attached to produce.

Unsure if this is still the Rose Red film reported in March.

Eh. The live action Cinderella was dreadfully boring. It wasn't a bad movie, just the overly safe and uninspired. I'm sure kids that have never seen the animated version might like it but as an adult it was just longer boring version of something I'd already seen. After that I'm just a little down on these adaptations.

I wanna see a live action version of Disney's Robin Hood. Given all the previous takes on the legend, it could be an interesting watch.

Oo-de-lally!

I'd pop for a live action Black Cauldron, if they got the look of the horned king and his soldiers right

not really interested in anything else going live

This would be interesting if they went with the original ending in the church

Jungle Book was a dull experience too tbh.

These films are all money printers tho

Of course they are. At this point expect live action every Disney Classic. Did they announce live action Lion King yet?

Actually I heard Pete's Dragon was pretty good though relative to these other live action Disney flicks

AmiroX lol they actually did. Freaking jon Favreau is signed on too to bless us with that mediocre idea

Yeah, I can't even get mad. They're not going to mess with their cash flow. I'll just wait for that Enchanted sequel that's brewing.

Jungle Book was a part of that push it wasn't the origin of it, this was planned long before Junglebook even came out.

Because Maleficent and Cinderella didn't happen.

Sequels. They want it to be a franchise.

Disenchanted is an upcoming American fantasy-musical film and sequel to Enchanted, produced and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures in association with Barry Sonnenfeld and Josephson Entertainment. It will be written by J. David Stem and David N. Weiss, and directed by Adam Shankman

Huh, I thought the Huntsman movies was already the live action version of "Snow White"....heck the first movie even had Snow White in the title and movie! Guess it wasn't Disney approved 🤔

Y'know a Live Action Hunchback of Notre Dame could be pretty cool. Plus it could let them go back and fix the couple of tonal errors that they made in that film. Would not mind that.

In the mean time, Snow White will have to do.

If they're gonna be as good as The Jungle Book they can do whatever the fuck they want. Just keep hiring the right talent.

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
In twenty years they can start doing animated adaptations of the live action adaptations of old animated classics.

Let me guess, they'll make Snow White seem like she's an independent and strong- willed person, but in the end make the revision of her character nearly pointless. Lookin' at you Cinderella remake.
