Holy crap, not sure how they infiltrated this feature past the store quality control, but glad that the new privacy settings in iOS14 were able to spot it.
With this kind of access, they could steal clear text passwords that you might have copy and pasted. There is no excuse for pulling off this shit.

lol don't praise them too much. Apple was told about this back in February and initially denied that it was a security issue. There still isn't a fix yet, and ios14 isn't expected till fall.

From the Twitter thread it seems this impacts more than just tiktok including stuff like Microsoft Teams, there is probably an actual use case for monitoring the clipboard and apps have just been coded lazily.
