I played some of the trial, and I don't know, I'm not really feeling it.
I had to play the first campaign mission 3 times in a row because it couldn't find players to match me with for the rest.
I don't really like the shooting. The guns kind of feel like they have no weight to them, I'm not really sure how to describe it.
I also experience random bits of super poor framerate. Game will go from being 40+FPS to like sub 10FPS for a couple minutes, which needless to say is not fun and results in me getting killed. Seems to happen at random and resolves itself at random too.

Regular maps are ok, DLC ones... still can't find a variety matchmaking, after 10 tries ;_;
That's why I don't buy DLC, because in the current gaming lsndscape the maps become irrelevant after one month. Makes me sad, too that COD is the only game where you get your money's worth for the dlc.

Personally, map packs should always be free because it usually more often then not splits the user base up, Gears 3 is a prime example of this, blocking server based games for those not up to date with map packs.
I know they cost money and time to make, sell skins if you really have to.

My brother hyped me for the season pass, said the maps were all kinds of awesome, well good luck playing them tho. =/
I heard the maps were cool, too. But as I always said, there is no need to buy a season pass until the first pack is released and the state of the community can be gauged. Unfortunately, as we see now, the DLC maps are a rare breed. If the next pack contains some kind of snow environment I may buy it, but otherwise it's a waste of money. I love Respawn, but buying DLC that becomes irrelevant within weeks always leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Publishers need to smarten up like VALVE. Release a map pack DLC for first month and all who buy it get something special in game. After a month or two it's free.
It'll try to matchmake you on your current campaign map. Failing that, it'll try finding players for the previous one, then the previous one and so on until it has enough players.
I ended up replaying the first 3 campaign maps 3x over the weekend before just moving on to straight MP to try that.
I'm still so sad it's not on sale anymore

I thought I heard something about them being revealed next month, but as far as a drop date I haven't the slightest clue.
Am I the only one randomly getting Titan summon burn cards even though I've stopped regenerating? I just got a random Reserve Orge burn Card after a match even though I didn't complete any challenge, its weird.
Also, once you stop regenerating and finish all the challenges aren't the number of burn cards you get meant to reduce? I barely complete a challenge these days and I'm getting spammed with burn cards. I have to constantly get rid of some because my deck is overflowing with them, I have no idea where I'm getting them from.

You can get burn cards randomly as you play so I guess it's that, I have 17 double XP cards in my deck as I hardly use them, bin all of them apart from titan spawners.

I'm actually pretty decent at the game (typically in the top 2-3 on my team in score) but don't have enough time to actually play the game.
The satchels are getting a bit out of control. Last night I was killed 4 or 5 times from a pretty big distance with a satchel charge. Glad they are getting nerfed.
I'm trying to use non-rifle weapons on this generation but I'm just not feeling the shotty. I like being able to pop from distance in Titanfall. Which is odd because back in my Halo 2/Halo 3/UT days I tended towards short range weapons.
Also.. good god do the starting powers feel gimped now. Oh man, I forgot how much I leaned on my weapon sets of choice.

I put the game on variety pack or attrition and routinely wind up in one of the DLC maps.
At first it was all wargames, but I've been playing on Swamp and Runoff a lot recently.

Any word on when update 4 is hitting?
I am on the X1 with NAT open, but do play Attrition or Domination mostly. And when I do play variety nothing pops up. You seem to be having more luck than most, though.
Yeah, can't wait for some in-depth patch notes. Nothing gives me happy feels more than reading extensive patch notes.

I just had a game I'm the highest level and the rest of my team are brand new level 2 players except for one who's level 3. We got slaughtered.
The maps are worth it to me, I typically run about 3 games in the variety pack playlist and then head over to regular variety pack for the remainder of my session. Playing the new maps about 3 games a night keeps it fresh enough for me. Granted, I've been knee deep in Watch_Dogs so I haven't been playing but once or twice a week.
Yeah I was gonna reccomend OddOne put something like this in the OT.

Added, and I've been playing with randoms as well for the most part. Playing with people makes for a whole different game. Nothing more satisfying than rodeoing a friendly Titan and going crazy with a Charged Rifle as you synch up your actions.
Did the hard reboot, so hopefully things are working well. Won't know until I go into some matches where people talk.

Exactly this. I'm done buying DLC unless I'm playing with a group and doing enough customs where I know I will get the value from it. I'd really like to pick these up (and in general I have decent luck getting games on new maps, but it is just too much of a crapshoot).
Devs/Publishers need to look at it in a different way, in that for MP games instead of trying to monetize maps and just get a portion of your existing base that will purchase, by giving them away (but maybe charging for early access and some exclusive skins of other cosmetic content), they create more value for their existing players but also create a more enticing package for new players to jump in. I think MP games should try to create more momentum as the move forward by creating a strong community and having more content available (also free weekends, trials, etc, give that first hit away) so the game actually gets better as time goes on as opposed to throwing down roadblocks.
I'm pretty sure it's within the next week. Gen 9 is taking forever to do, i haven't even started to go for the Kraber or Smart pistol kills yet.

Also LOVING that regenning now has a purpose. Guess I'll regen out of Gen 2 now. Maybe...

EA really thumbed their noses at the free weekend guys after it was over. Jack the price up and oh here's a nice update that you won't enjoy unless you pay full price for the game!
That is a nice update though. Finally nerfed the shotgun range, that was my major gripe on PC.
Carbine is weaker whereas CAR remained the same? Sweet. I will test the new SMG but I night stay with the CAR.
Other than that, I am worried any adjusting to the new game modes, but I will give it a try.
I have a question however...
Will the Titan Insignia's unlock based on stuff we have already done in the game? I know about the Gooser challenge, but I don't want to be forced to used weapons I have already used before and I don't like to unlock the new patterns, that would make me feel like it would be better to go Gen 10 from this update.
I also hope the new achievements aren't grindy, and that if they are they can be unlocked based on what we have already done.
Other than that, I am worried any adjusting to the new game modes, but I will give it a try.

My old friend from school picked up Titanfall and we spoke for a while. Didn't lost a single game, didn't make MVP only once (by one point on Rise damnit).
Playing Titanfall with one other feels like playing a coop game and multiplayer at the same time. It's great how even though it is 6v6, if you're good enough, the game feels like one gigantic campaign skirmish.
Once my partner saw me in a Titan fight and asked of the smoke was mine, when I said it was he jumped through and Rodeo'd the guy, giving me time to run off and get my shield up as he took doomed the Titan, by which point I turn around and take out the Pilot.
TBH nerfing the Carbine is great because I think that weapon is complete poop compared to the CAR. Respawn doesn't want to nerf the CAR because all us Gen 10s like secretly cheating.
