Will be getting ready for this by playing tonight on PC.

Would really prefer to play with people who communicate in Frontier Defense once its out.

I want to skip to gen 10 for rankings but I also want that zero point achievement for doing it legit, currently nearly done with gen 8, just need 30+ more wins.

Gen-10 people will be able to give out a limited number of rank chips (invites) to other players. I bet you'd have a good chance of getting one from someone in this thread.

Once activated, you still earn XP and stuff like normal, so you won't have to decide between rank chip or normal progression or anything like that.

Also is it just bronze, silver, and gold? Or is there only one left after gold?

After reading this thread, found out that Titanfall is $20 right now in the states, and $70 in NZ (roughly $55 USD). Thats ridiculous! One of the only times I'l gladly mention I brought the game for a handful of peso's

Believe it or not, we're always listening. Given that there's finite time and resources however, it's always a balancing act of choosing what we think will make our audience happiest versus what we can actually do given the resources we have.

That said: you guys should keep giving us feedback! Tell us what you like, what you didn't, what you wish you could see. We can't promise everything you guys ask for, but your feedback is certainly useful in helping us gauge what people want. Case in point: we did another round of Titan OS voices because the reception to the first batch was pretty positive.

Mr.t titan voice would be awesome. Also reduce loading time on xbox one version and a 16 vs 16 pilot vs pilot mode no bots. Might even have to make it 32 vs 32 brcause the maps are so big

it doesn't matter how big the maps are. the game has very fast movement, you get from one place to the next. And regardless fighting usually takes place in the same key spots

I'll beleaving Destiny and coming back to Titanfall with this update. I'll need to spend some time in training though, I tried playing the game yesterday and I was getting overwhelmed, it was so damn fast and chaotic. I couldn't even thrown a grenade for shit.

Played a solid few games this morning before work. I'm not really pleased with the connection in this game anymore. What happened to the dedicated servers? Each game had 3 or 4 people lagging all over the place.

Come on.

the game will check for matches outside your region if there's nothing good in your area I believe, sometimes I feel like I get is matches from the UK late at night.

Is there a ranked play invite begging thread yet? I'm one of those players that choses not to regen but I wouldn't mind trying the ranked system. GT is RealAngryMonkey on Xbox, same on origin.

It's been a while since I even login into Origin.

For me the great stuff is HBAO+ and TXAA. Well I'll see how the game connection behaves as I'm pretty much done with the low population in SEA server.

Playing other region means tolerating 300+ ping which I can't tolerate anymore and the main reason why I never touch Titanfall (I only got the chance to play IMC Rising map less than 10 times).

Hey Respawn, as feedback towards future updates I would love to be able to buy IMC and Militia skins in the future, keep the unique skin look for each primary weapon like you do now but allow a second alt for each maybe, please make the spectre skin a choice too!

Just had a game of Frontier Defense with three random players on Overlook. Really good fun and a definite change of pace from the main game. We got a victory with five waves on our first ever game so maybe Overlook is one of the easier maps. We three starred it too. Seems really fast paced and a good addition, looking forward to playing more.

the AI hit hard, just a warning. Turret placement is vital to beating a round, really important.

Overlook is super easy, since Titans can only come from the top and the narrow entrance in front of the Harvester, it's very easy to lock them down, just leave one Stryder behind to clear stragglers and suicide Spectres.

Damn, these player numbers are depressing on PC. Average 50 players in most playlist, 700 in Frontier Defense... And I still couldn't get into a game.

Lagoon felt rather straight forward and that was 6 waves, we only used a continue on the last wave because no one but me was going after mortar titans to being with.

To compare with current xbox one numbers, defense is at 1388, attrition is at 754 and the rest are mostly sub 100, but the patch has only been out an hour so i'm guessing it will grow a bit on both systems.

Where do these numbers come from? Did they finally add the option to see how many people are playing (or an average)?

Also, damn, are those PC numbers for all regions combined or just the US? I don't want to imagine the numbers in the Brazil server, which is the one I'm forced to use due to my location... :(

Like I said in the other Titanfall thread, if there was one game that would'be benefited from Steam functions, this is the one...

They finally added a population counter. There is a number for your region, and then worldwide.

*shudder* I guess tonight when I install the patch I'll finally see how many people are playing in my region. Oh my... Fingers crossed hoping this update will bring in extra players. I already played 56 hours and I wouldn't mind devoting more to this game! After Titanfall I find quite hard to play other FPS without thinking "why I can't wall run here or parkour there or just double jump to that location and riding lines in reverse"... It's like the wall hanging of Mega Man X or the ability to graze bullets in shmups instead of dying upon contact.
