Does Origin still have the thing where you no longer own the games after 3 years or so of inactivity?

The general gaming community has zero balls and will gladly defend anti-consumer practices to get their next fix of interactive entertainment.
DRM in general is anti-consumer, why do I need steam to play most games? Why do you have zero balls and let Valve and other publishers get away with it?

Because they wanted MONEY. That's all the fallout was about. They wanted more money for their work and Activision didn't want to pay so they went to court to get paid and moved on.
If Activision had paid up, Titanfall would be a Call of Duty game.
