So savetitanfall.com have been doing their best Kiwi Farms/4chan impression and uncovered several members of the Titanfall community (including a subreddit mod) conspired to bring down TF1&2 to help out with their shitty reboot or whatever of Titanfall Online.

One of them told Respawn how to fix it, hoping they'd give him a job there, another used the hacks to ask Respawn through eurogamer for controls of the servers. No doubt to help out with their shitty Nexxon TF revie

Some bloke who can summarise it better than me.

Yea, i watched this last night. Pretty much makes all other urinalist look like what they are IRL. if you didnt watch the one on CP2077, its also very well done. IMO, this is true investigative journalism, not someone who is friends with a bunch of hive minded folks just waiting for someone to send them a tweet or email that XYZ said something or did something bad.

Never heard of this going on. Going to watch it now while the Jays are dominating Boston.

TF1 was a great game, TF2 was meh. Never played Apex.

I'll watch that one later for sure... but the fact still stands tho that one of them literally told Respawn how to fix it because he wanted a job... and they didn't fix it... like... what?

Past 2 yrs for TF1 on pc (started out as a diff hacker)

TF2 has been unplayable recently cause of these tools
I barely played T2. It looked better and played smoother. But I didn't like the weak titans and Xray vision perk. It felt like COD. I quit playing very early, so I missed all this hack stuff.

Played TF1 quite a bit on Xbox One. Have no idea if I ran into hackers. I did pretty well in that game, so I'm going to assume I didnt run into hackers much.

the Titans aren't weak in TF2 tho...? I mained Ronin and rolled people with that Titan more than I ever did in TF1

Maybe they bumped it up in patches, but I found them super weak. Some reason I didn't do great in TF2. I found I was getting sniped by foot soldiers a lot from long distance, while it was tougher to do that in TF1.

I seemed to last a lot longer in TF1 titans than TF2.

depends on how you play I guess, also depends on how good your team is. if your team gets enemy batteries for you and charge your titan all the time then you will last a long time

Titans are weak AF in TF2 compared to TF1. In titanfall 2 I killed titans in 5 seconds with ease. A single one of their stupid super moves and they were dead.

TF1 is one of my favourite games of all time. I put in over 3000 hours into it. TF2 however I got to about 300 and couldn't do it anymore, even that was a struggle. They completely ruined everything that made Titanfall unique by trying to just copy trends. Titans were little more than kill streaks in TF2.

I totally disagree... I had matches where half of the match I sat in my Ronin and just shotgunned people down

maybe it helped that I almost always played with friends and we got batteries for eachother and had eachother's backs

Good players could keep theirs alive longer against worse oppositions, but the second you came up against someone good your Titan stood no chance. I'm not bragging but I am/was very good, over 50% of matches MVP over my thousands of hours of TF1, and TF2 Titans were a cakewalk compared to TF1 ones. Tone was way OP compared to all the others no matter how many times they nerfed him and buffed the others.

In TF2 it wasn't actually that big of an advantage having your titan because they were so easy to kill. They were just temporary kill streaks when you're playing with good players. I'd get 10+ titan kills a match frequently.

I could write a thesis on all the ways respawn ruined the titanfall franchise with TF2 haha. It was one of the most unique and dynamic MP games every, but they dumbed it down to COD levels to chase a crowd that never wanted to play a cod clone because they already had COD. It failed miserably and now the franchise is dead.
