Same dude. Lost interest halfway through the "rescue orihime" arc because it felt like they were just retreading the Soul Society arc with new characters. But I'm here for nostalgia and the possibility of IchiRuki
I won't read the spoilers but I'm not even surprised that they would generate reactions like this one lol. The way the story is progressing can't lead into anything other than something really stupid.

No no no it goes like this. Every Bleach fight ever:
Good guy encounters bad guy
Good guy laughs at how pathetic bad guy is.
Good guy launches at bad guy and basically gets one shot.
Bad guy spends inordinate amount of time explaining how his powers work.
Good guy levels up and after a fight, overwhelms bad guy.
Bad guy has a change of heart after the battle explaining how he's not exactly horrible.
Repeat ad nauseum.

At least Naruto had a way that it could end in a satisfying manner. Like putting the characters in a place that readers have wanted to see them. I don't think Bleach can do that, it's destined to end badly. Like what does Ichigo even want? Will it end with him dying and becoming a captain or will he lose his powers (again, but no for real this time!) and go back to normal life? I want to see them do something crazy like letting Aizen win because he's the only way to win and the lesser evil. Just off the wall crazy.
Naruto did learn the ways of the asspull near the end, but Bleach is king of them. I'm expecting something huge. "It was all a dream..." level bullshit. Lol

he's doing all this to make SS better, replacing the old guards and the shitty people by molding Ichigo and friends to take over. He had ample time to slay his own son, but yet he didn't.. All of this was a means to an end in order to correct SS.

So did I. Maybe they are?
My theory is that there's no time left for anything like that and Bach is just going to end up in a crystal because Soul Society needs a new existentially terrifying (that no one but Aizen minds) King to hold it together. No ships sail, no one is satisfied, the end.
My hope would be that they explain what/who the Soul King is because that's the only mystery left and the only thing I care about, but I doubt we're getting that.

Alrighty so Aizen, the big antagonist of the series, is delegated to having no screen time because Kubo decided to introduce a million random fodder characters.
I'm half expecting the last page of this manga to be Aizen sitting in his chair looking over a destroyed universe.
So looked up some stuff on the wikia. Yawatch or whatever his name is said that he would give them an extravagant death in the moment when each of them feels the greatest joy and happiness.
I'm totally guessing it's going to be a cliche where Ichigo walks through and the next panel is him waking up to a normal life. No shinigami, married to Rukia or whatever.
He's all like "What's going on?"
And then he gets killed extravagantly.
The. End.

Bleach started off okay, became progressively more obnoxious around halfway through the Soul Society arc, but was still at least marginally engaging with the Arrancars and such up until the final battle with Aizen. That's what eventually did it for me. After going through all that horseshit for at least six years (probably more), only to have one of the most anti-climactic final battles in anime history?

It's not an asspull but it's definitely poor writing. For starters, it makes Ichigo's character a joke now.
Also, one more thing, how did Tsukishima and Ginjō get to Wahrwelt? Don't you need like a Quincy item like Ryūken had or a portal like Ichigo and co. had?

Kishimoto stopped giving a shit and just wanted it to end, hence why everything after the Pain arc felt rush, slapped together, and with zero build up. He has no where close to where he wanted to stopped. Quality plummeted from probably the best long running shounen to a terrible fanfic version.
Kubo always knew where he wanted to stop. He announced it several years ago, he was going to have one small arc leading into another big one one(Fullbring to Quincy). He always felt like someone who had a solid outline, but was terrible at filling it in.
