Titus closes its doors

And another one bites the dust.

Lesse, Atari (the original, REAL Atari), Acclaim, 3DO, and now Titus. Any other companies I'm leaving out?

All right.

Never forget.

To be fair they never made a lot that was any good.

Roadsters '98 I think it was called on the N64 was decent, and I actually put a fair number of hours into Automobili Lamborghini when I first got it. Hardly a GT-killer tho!

I weep for Titus, they made some of the more memorable games of the Amiga era..
well not that many...IMO... that Duck Tales games is the only good one I can remember. Blues Brothers was pretty "good" too. Didnt they publish Dick Tracy also? I didnt ever play it but it was supposedly very good on C64/Spectrum.

Some Titus games from the top of my head:

The blues Brothers (sexelent)
Fire and Forget
fire and Forget II
Crazy Cars
Crazy Cars 2
Crazy Cars 3 (Incredible)
Crazy Cars Lamborgini Challenge
The Adventures of Titus the Fox / Moktar
Prehistoric Man

all those games were good to excellent, I spent hundreds of hours on Moktar and Crazy Cars 3

I think this graphic from the EB games website about sums up Titus...

Well Titus did publish Monster Max which is one of the best games for the gameboy. Unfortunately they managed to release it almost a year after the reviews had been in the press. Sadly it didn't sell very well.

No it was absolutely awful (got 11% in both Zzap64 and Commodore Format).

Lamborghini on the Snes was their last good game.

They should have milked the franchise, since they still have the license.
