Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Special Edition - $79.99 | Best Buy US pre-orders back up

Huh. They must have got restocks because those went fast originally.

Yeah. I only saw one during launch week at a Best Buy I sometimes go to that's actually technically the closest to me but has nothing around it. It's located in a complex of a three car dealerships.

It's parking lot is usually pretty empty and as such you can find stuff that goes out of stock at other well traveled stores. I chalked them have the special edition to that.

Though recently I just saw my second one in the wild at a Walmart. It's at the bottom on the Wii U section just laying flat and you could only see the spine. It's easy to glance over.

I swear to god if this thing sells out on Amazon while I'm sleeping.
Considering I work 3rd shift, this is what I'm fearing. I'm already placing an order on GS just as an back-up.

I think the fun part of these is the fact that we KNOW people are going to miss out because they never make enough of these things.
Nintendo sometimes takes the "Limited" in Limited Edition waaaay too seriously at times. At least this isn't freakin' exclusive to the first 100 people in line at Nintendo World Store....

Is the pre-order for the EU version of the LE already up anywhere? I've been checking my usual retailers but no one seems to have it up yet.

well it's listed on amazon.de, but you can't pre-order yet
http://www.amazon.de/dp/B01EMXHM10/

thus said, I expect other sites to put it up as well in the coming days. Amazon hasn't been that great price-wise in a while, so I'll probably just wait and see... (and just get it retail if I happen to miss the pre-order time window)

Great find, strangely enough it didn't show up when I searched for it. Now let's hope you can pre-order it soon and that the window where you can actually buy it is longer than just a few hours. Good luck to everyone with securing their copy!

Sub text is in yellow? Pre-order cancelled.

I didn't even notice it until you guys pointed it out. The important thing is for it to stand out, which it does so I don't see a problem.

Really looking forward to this thing. I'm a huge fan of Jpop and JRPGs so this is right up my alley.

Still nothing for amazon. I just know I'm going to miss it like I did for FE. It's late at night here and I need to sleep but I bet I'm going to wake up to notification that it's sold out...

I dunno, it just depends on how many want it and how many they produce. Plenty of "side" Persona games that get LEs don't sell out at all and just get cheaper on Amazon, but this might be different since it's a full-fledged RPG.

Well those are sold and published by Atlus and this is done by Nintendo. If they make as many as they did with xeno x, everyone will easily get one because xeno x is still in stock but i feel like itll be devil's third small run (The CEs)

Devil's third is still available though...? I don't think it ever had a special edition.

this game looks so good. if only I still had my wii u. what are the chances of it being ported to nx? <10%? :(
IMO: Probably nil.

The only way this game gets a sequel is if the West somehow goes nuts for it or Nintendo is adamant on making it a series regardless and dumps money on more games. This game will probably sell more in the west but probably not much more.

Yeah I don't expect it at all. I'll just pick up a wii u again, later on

I think the best course of action is to just get the game now (with how niche it is if you want a physical copy its best to get it ASAP) and a console whenever.

I would imagine a sequel would be 100% dependent of the game selling great numbers on the west.

The rumors of a sequel were due to a casting call, when they had Mamori's vaand the music group judging potential candidates with the winner going on to voice/sing in another rpg.

Will amazon ship internationally?

If not, this s... it will be really hard to get the collector's edition here in Mexico.

.n_n.

If it's like Japan, I THINK the DLC will be the 3 support quests (XP, faster skill learning & improved weapon proficiency, & rare enemies that drop stat-enhancing items), a "Tokyo Millennium" Collection (to quote SatoAilDarko, includes “cosplay” costumes, made by Maiko (Maid Eleanora, Santa Tsubasa, Nurse Kiria), which was also known as the Fashion Show set), & then the first print set of Atlus cameo costumes.

That's just my guess, as that seems to be the only DLC that I can find, excluding the hot springs/swimsuits. Would've been nice if Nintendo/Atlus mentioned what the DLC was, but we just know it's "5 DLC packs contain additional quests or costumes".

Thanks for the info. Do you know how much the DLC was priced separately in Japan? I don't really care for the stickers and things, so I'm trying to see if it's cheaper to get the game and DLC separately or whether the Special Edition is still worth it just for DLC purposes.

Nintendo said they'd cost $1.99 if purchased outside of the LE. They were a bit more in Japan, but basically, you're getting $10 worth of DLC if you get the LE, then the other $10 could be seen towards the stickers, artbook, lyric sheets, & CD.

Or hell, if you're getting the 20% discount via prime, the LE would cost $64 (well, before tax), meaning you're saving $6 on all the DLC.

Again, that's just my prediction on what the DLC will be.

Yeah, I'd be going for the Prime discount.

So let's see...
- Regular version for $48 + $10 for DLC = $58
- Special version for $64, DLC included = $64

$6 for Artbook, 6 Song Soundtrack CD, 6 Song Cards, Sticker Sheet... not too bad
