Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands |OT| Squad Goals

I never got the first Destiny, I played it a little bit, and it seemed OK but not great. Is 2 better/worth it?

I haven't had time to jump into Wildlands in a while. I wish I had more free time! I still need to finish Fallen Ghosts..

Still my GOTY though, so much fun was had with this game.

I really hope they fast track a sequel, and build in some additional end game content. I'm not sure if PvP will pull me in, as the co-op PvE stuff is kind of my bag (baby).

This is my first Destiny. I'm renting it long term, but am considering buying it. Good gunplay and plenty of cool moments, apart from the addictive-but-not-gameplay thrill of unlocking new stuff.

Noticed tonight there's an open beta for a new PvP update.... Not sure if or when it was announced, but it seems like around Sept. 21st until the 24th or something they're testing it. PvP will be 4v4.

Have I said this game could support a PUBG-style mode? Because the map certainly could. It might be a bit vehicle heavy given the size, but I'm sure it's possible in gameplay.

I wonder if the servers could support it?

Yeah they'd be dumb not to have some sort of Battle Royale mode planned.

I know PvP is only 4v4 on mini parts of the map.

Guessing their backend wasn't meant to support 100 or even 50 people, which is a shame.

I'd love seeing a huge online war in Bolivia. Imagine if you could join UNIDAD's side or Santa Blanca as well.

Maybe could do 4v4v4v4 or something.... GTA 5 Online's PUBG clone does up to.... 28 players, I think, but pretty often at night the lobbies will get 4 teams of 4-5 players, and it's pretty fun yet even with smaller teams -- and their version of PUBG doesn't suit smaller teams either (it's more 'vehicular' with a lot of 2-person vehicles).

I'd imagine it's OK for the engine... I mean, we can get some pretty big >15 NPC shootouts at times when UNIDAD reinforcements and SB reinforcements both start coming in against Rebels haha. Probably didn't design the network backend around it tho...

But if you think about the huge weapon inventory, all the mods, and the map design... it'd be pretty great for a battle royale sort of play. Slower tactical gameplay and gunplay would be OK for it, too.

What servers? Isn't everything p2p (which is why PvP is limited to only 4v4) ?

Finished all the story missions

Loved the CIA and cartel videos, lots of good gameplay, missions got pretty repetitive and easy towards the end, they should have given the narcos rocket launchers, there really weren't enough SAM sites to deter me from using helicopters to get right to the objective, run and and fly out lol

PvP is surprisingly entertaining, it's got a really unique pace and the marking system makes for some exciting games of cat and mouse.

If they ever do(or even can do) Battle Royal like people are asking for,
They should keep customization the same however potential armor pickups should be something that sticks out a bit.
Maybe like UN Baby Blue helmets and IBA vests.

I wish there were a few more helicopter types in the game,
especially something like
640

I really wish they would fix a few of the uniform camos(and add more).

Multicam is so darn faded its basically just a desert camo.
AOR 2 is so darn bright it looks like pajamas.
Tropical Multicam is also faded to the point of ruining the pattern.

British DPM, German Flecktarn and some Russian camo are sorely missing with PVP added.

Hey guys,

I'm interested in buying this game due to the sale and I was wondering if the season pass campaigns are worth it. I wasn't expecting that to be included in the sale and since I'm mostly in this for the solo stuff I'd like to know your opinion.

Edit : Looking around it seems like most people only liked the 2nd pack. Looking at it either way the price difference isn't that great so I just bought the gold edition anyway, lol.

I haven't touched the add-on campaigns, but the single player campaign out of the box is really big. It will take quite some time just to get through it on your own.

Started getting back into the game recently. I forgot how much I love the game..and how much I hate it.

Please Ubisoft, if you are making a sequel, please please use better voice actors. Them along with the painful dialogue that is constantly on loop (making fun of the medals you find wasn't funny the first time, let alone the 1000th), make my ears bleed.

This game is like the Just Cause games. You don't exactly play it for the cut scenes or dialog.

What's wrong with it? I mean... aren't you gonna let that guy drive/fly just cause of that one time?

Speaking of which, I played the open beta and the military jokes were everywhere. Now that I play the retail game I haven't heard a single one. Did they remove them at some point?

Someone sell me on this game. I played the PC Beta and it seemed fun but I didn't end up getting it at launch. The game is on sale right for half off on PC and my interest has piqued again.

I absolutely love The Division, is this game similar?

How is PC performance? I have a 980ti/ i7 6700k and I recall some shaky framerates in the beta so I'm hoping the full game is a bit more polished.

How is the gunplay/customization of weapons? Is there bullet drop or hitscan? Do weapon mods affect guns in a meaningful way?

I've heard that there is a multiplayer mode now for the game, how is that?

Are the DLCs any good?

EDIT: Also, is there an end game like The Division with stuff to grind for etc. or is it basically over after you've done all missions/collectibles?

Other than the third-person camera, “Tom Clancy’s”, and some of the weapons you can select, absolutely not.

Bullets have travel time with exaggerated drop.

It always had PvE multiplayer and the game is better that way. The new PvP is fantastic if you communicate with your team.

The game is the same start to finish, there is no grind (unless you want to). You do get more skills and equipment through gameplay, but you can go find your favourite gun in 30 minutes of starting the game if you want to play it that way.

You play it because you like the gameplay and not due to progress bar progress addiction.

They did add a grindy difficulty system— once you hit character level 30 via XP (which doesn’t affect difficulty) you can enable “Tier 1” mode, in which you start at Tyier 50 and through Xp progress up to tier 1; each tier makes the bad guys hardier and more lethal, and eventually locks out lower difficulty settings. The grind comes from needing to earn supplies to power up your guns to deal more damage to the hardier enemies. You can flip Tier 1 off anytime.

The core gameplay loop is:
- decide on an objective
- travel to objective
- recon objective
- execute in manner of your choosing until it all goes to shit
- improvise
- bug out
