Tom Clancy's The Division - Ubisoft + Massive, MMO Open World TPS RPG

Someone gif that cardoorclosing. Was impressed by that, of all things. Game characters usually just slide over things, here the dude reached out and closed the door as he crouched past it.

Anyway, really good presentation, art, visuals, HUD etc, but uncertain on pretty much everything else. Does it have singleplayer at all? is it an MMO? Where does the alleged RPG part of it come in? Is it primarily about running around and coverbasedshooting dudes? What are the other aspects if there are any?

Wait, people are excited over this? It looked very sub standard.

Great looking game but MMO = not interested for me. Also I'm pretty sure it'll come to PC, this is Ubisoft, it's their usual way of handling PC versions - wait for half a year before releasing it.

Game looked amazing but I gotta admit the MMO/online part turned me off. Rather just play it as a single player game.

Amazing that the ONLY thing we know for sure is running on a PS4 is the only thing that looked "next Gen" to me, out of everything Microsoft has shown..don't let me Down Sony >__<

As someone with zero interest in multiplayer games... no, it does not look sub standard. It actually sounds more interesting than Watch Dogs which I fear is heading towards being a next-gen-ass-creed.

Yup so substandard
Walking in the streets! How fun!

I'm not talking 'bout the graphics, dawg.

I liked the Watch Dogs reveal actually, but if every trailer if going to zoom out showing everyone playing at the same time, it's not going to be an incentive anymore. Nothing was new.

I thought it all looked really, really good, but yeah the animation of the guy closing the door as he crouched past impressed the hell out of me.

Extremely excited by this game, coolest thing I've seen so far as I catch up on all the trailers I missed. :D

Gamers: "I'm so tired of shooters please give me something else to do next gen!"

Ubisoft releases trailer of TPS in a setting that's been done to death. Gamers: "Holy shit looks amaaaaaazing!!!"

So far this is the highlight of the show. Yes its another shooter but at least its changing things up. SO far E3 has been underwhelming. New Gen same old shit with new shine

What does this change up?

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, but the response to this is kinda astonishing. It's an encapsulation of everything neogaf has been complaining about for years and here they are blowing their loads over it. Is it just cause it's so darn pretty? Because it definitely is. Otherwise it looks no different from any other focus tested turd of the past 3 years.

Yeah the part where the dude closed the door while moving along it blew my mind. Contextual animations like that are fucking ace.
