If the girl died in exchange for transmuting her brother back to life, and we saw her regret all her stupid choices in the end, this ending might not have sucked.

Julia succeeded at Al and Ed's entire goal in the series despite that being declared impossible in the series.

BOOOOOOOONES

Eh, she did it using a Philosopher's Stone. The boys knew they could do it easily with a stone too and actively chose not to do it.

Is it wrong to say that the Game of War's commercial made me notice the chick's cleavage when she was riding the horse?

and a leg, because fuck you!

Every time I see this movie I get annoyed Mustang's fight with three fucking chimera was off-screen. He fought three of them! That had to be a better fight than the one we saw.

He wasn't all the way dead yet, just mostly dead.

He just burned them.

Yawn

It wasn't impossible, Ed and Al just chose not to do it because the stone represented 1000's of murdered people. Even in the finale Ed was given the option to use one to get Al back. Julia already established she didn't care about sacrificing people to make a stone so using one to save her brother really isn't out of character.

Honeheim made the point to Ed that human transmutation is impossible. Even if you offer the appropriate sacrifice, you'll get a different soul than the original. Bringing back Al only worked because his soul hadn't already passed to the other side.

Ed and Al wanted the philosopher's stone to restore their bodies, not human transmutation.

Just wait a minute, they'll explain it. It's not Bones being Bones.

And neither had Ashley, he was on the verge of dying and had lost his face, she used the power of the stone to save his life and restore his face

If we're being serious, she sacrificed her leg to pull his soul back into his body and used the philosopher stone to heal his body. Bones just conveys that terribly and the random shot of the door of truth is super misleading and silly.
