To be fair if you think your brother was horribly mauled to death as a child, 10 years later even if you see someone who looks kind of like him you probably aren't going to think "oh this is my brother still alive and not horribly mauled who made no effort to contact me for 10 years". It's obvious to us the viewers because it's anime and it's cliche

The two episodes with Seras and Pip holding down against the Scythe woman were by far the best episodes in the OVA.

Volume VII was my favorite. I reread that one several times. I also loved the closing song in VII.

The ending was okay, but I thought IX was more enjoyable. I totally understand the criticisms of the ending, but I liked it. Guess I can return my blu-Ray now.
