Who would have ever thought we'd get both KLK and Gurren Lagann, my two favorite shows, on Toonami at the same time?!? In case you didn't know, both shows were created/directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and many of the team who made Gurren Lagann left Studio Gainax to form their own studio, Trigger, and KLK is their first show.

It has a dub...that fluctuates from amazing to awful and has three people doing like 90 voices. I love it and won't watch the original anymore. It's a period piece to be sure. It has moments of brilliance though.

I was actually surprised a few years back when Funimation started really dipping their toes into ecchi. I mean, it must have been coming considering the popularity of those shows from about 2006 on and the rapidly drying up market for traditional sales.

Meanwhile a change in laws/change in internet porn profitably has actually fundamentally shut down the US market for actual hentai. That and FYE going basically out of business!
